Best food, energy and love. We go there as often as we can. Everything on the menu is great and the specials, devine! Check out all the artwork, especially the"journey to the soul"

As a Texan, I love watching Bob Phillip's Texas Country Reporter. I see all this cool stuff my state has, but more times than not, I don't get to experience the features first-hand. So, when my friend I was visiting told me that we needed to go to this restaurant where the staff are going through recovery and you don't... More

A friend and I went to look at a mural that is in progress on the property. We had a hamburger and a sandwich. Oh my, what a delicious meal! We split a dessert (chocolate brownie cupcake with peanut butter icing and peanut butter cup garnish. YUM! We were interested too in SerenityStar.org, the rehabilitation organization the cafe is a... I've been there several times and the food is always good. Different than your usual Texas Cafe, more than bacon and eggs breakfast, and lunch specials are astounding. Love what they are doing to help rehab people. Let them wash your vehicle while you are eating. They do a great job.

A wrong turn off the highway & suggestions from TA thankfully brought us to Comfort Cafe. All around remarkable experience. We all had something different yet equally scrumptious. French Dip (which apparently often sells out), strawberry stuffed French toast, blueberry/white chocolate pancakes, & chicken Cesar salad made for a fine lunch. The pancakes were hands down the best I've ever... More

Nice atmosphere...sit outside if you can. Fast friendly service. Large menu with something for everyone. Had the curry chicken sandwich and it was very good. My wife had the BLT and liked it as well. Had the French Toast and it too was very good. Worth the trip so stop in especially travelling to and from Austin.

Stopping in here for breakfast after camping at Buescher and I am so happy we didn't miss it! The patio is so adorable with hanging Christmas lights, picnic tables and a mural that surrounded with plants and a mini pond. A dj played country music and classic rock. The staff are all recovering addicts that were some of the most... More

We met up with family, who live in Smithville, for a late breakfast on our way back to Houston from Austin. First, the food. I had as good an eggs benedict as I can remember, with smooth hollandaise . . . while my teenage son ate an omelet with a pancake chaser, both fine quality. The pancake was so good,... More
