My order was 51 then it went to 61. They tipped themselves without my authorization. Staff was rude, one guy (shorter) was nice he was the only pleasant interaction we had here. We were not greeted the entire time we were here, we walked in...and waited for about 30 minutes to even sit down while they walked past us. We finally sat down and still waited about another 30 minutes for our drinks as people who were seated after us were already getting their appetizers. It was a disappointment as I travel to Slaton for this restaurant specifically and their service was very unprofessional. The rolled up silverware were dirty . Horrible experience . The tall I guess “busser with glasses and talk skinny girl with glasses , were rude. My server with blond in her hair was at least trying and the only nice guy was a younger male , not tall but light skin was the only positive person here. I let it go however then taking the extra 10 dollars from my card cuts it. They need to fire the person who tipped themself without my authorization. That is illegal.More

We have been visiting this restaurant once a year for many years, however I have never written a review before. It is under new ownership and they have revamped the menu and the food is homemade and very tasty. I had a meal with the...red sauce and it was absolutely wonderful. They offered plenty of chips and salsa and have a full bar. My wife also enjoyed her meal as did our friend who lives in Ransom Canyon and drives here weekly for their food. This was our best visit to this restaurant and we certainly look forward to returning.More

Friendly, down-home, good value, neighborhood vibe. Young owners/chefs, very good value for the dollar. Came in with 9 hungry college students on a weekend and Chasity was unflapped. Food is excellent, made with fresh good-quality ingredients, and--miraculously, for a Tex-Mex place in this part of...the world--the coffee was excellent. Nice folks. Highly recommended.More

This is one of 2 sit-down Tex-mex restaurants in Slaton. Both are good by different. Miguel's has beer and wine. Home cooked food. Friendly staff. I recommend them both.

First time at this restaurant and my wife and I enjoyed our lunch. Started with a cold beer and a margarita on the rock, both good choices. We both ordered the chili rellenos at the recommendation of another nearby diner - very good selection. I...preferred the cheese relleno over the meat, but each to his own. Chips were fair, salsa was fresh tasting with a slight bite. Facilities were clean and service was above average. I'll return.More

When available, the beef chili Rellenos are the best any where around. Queso sauce on top adds significantly to flavor

Always come here for Tex Mex when in the Slaton area. Best Tex Mex we've found in the area so far! Always fresh. Hometown atmosphere.

It wasn't just the margarita...we also enjoyed delicious chile rellenos. Excellent service. This is a family-run business with Texas hospitality.
