If you were born in the 60’s or 70’s a must stop. Take it for what it is. Grab one of the 500 beers Karen says there are, I did not count them and then shop around. The place is small and packed with any and everything. Lots of CBD stuff I don’t understand but my wife did. Fun place to just relax and enjoy.

It’s a fun place to while away an hour or so. Tourists will find a souvenir or two, while enjoying at least one of the many Shiner specialty brews available here. And don’t even think about leaving without trying and buying a chunk of fantastic fudge. Barkeep won’t let you.

If you are looking for unusual, quaint, and off the beaten path, you have found it here! Super friendly and accommodating. Sip some wine, drink a beer...fudge is great, too! Small hometown feel. There is literally not ONE 5 inch square of this place NOT filled with something. Go, enjoy, be amazed!

My wife wanted to stop here to check out the antiques but instead we found a bar and fudge spot. The building is quite charming with old knick knacks everywhere, a well stocked beer and wine bar, and delicous homemade fudge. The owner was very friendly and had a couple of regulars playing dominos in the back. The stop was worth the beer and the fudge however was not the antique stop my wife was wanting.

My husband and I went to Antiques Art and Beer on a Thursday afternoon. There were about 3 people in the store. They were visiting and drinking. There were only 3-4 chairs (bar stools) available for seating. The small store was full of stuff, mostly antiques and want to be antiques. The prices were about average.

Antiquies is probably stretching things a bit. This place has some fun and unique gift items and memorabilia but not much of what I'd call antiques. This is a fun place to sit and have a beer - there's a little counter you can sit at and eat peanuts. The lady who was working there was full of great info. I would NOT recommend this for kids under 12. It's tiny and crowded and I wouldn't take a child inside here because of that. I don't know why Trip Advisor has this place listed as a restuarant, though. Unless you count peanuts and fudge, there's no food available.

Hi Kirsten, Thanks for taking the time to write! We don't know why Trip Advisor has us as a restaurant either, can't seem to get them to fix that and I've tried. Glad you enjoyed your visit! Happy Holidays!

Who knew a gem like this existed in a small Texas town off the beaten path? We stopped in on the recommendation of our campground hostess and were met by one of the most accommodating hostesses we’ve ever experienced. After learning of our preferences she recommended a local beer (one of a couple of hundred available) and a cider for my better half. We enjoyed the drinks while perusing the eclectic offerings. Instead of the usual business model of “no food or drinks allowed” hers is ...”come on in and grab a beer to enjoy while you my wares” Truly a don’t miss stop in Shiner, TX

There's this thing called serendipity. And a place referred to as a watering hole. As you sip a cold drink surrounded by evidence of unique hospitality and fine folks its magical. A gift. At the other end of the glass it's no accident. There is a strong & creative effort involved at Antiques, Art & Beer. But when you wander in past the initial antique, boutique, art & amusement packed shelves towards the beer paraphernalia, folks with a glass munching salt peanuts, & the little lady behind the bar, it seems like home and you just got here. So stay a while. And don't forget to come back. It's a business, and it's a labor of love.

Not many antiques, if that's what you're looking for. But, lots of non-antique gift ideas to choose from. A good beer/wine selection and some very entertaining banter with the feisty bartender made this a fun stop while passing through town. Try the fudge.

My family and I stopped here for a couple of hours while driving from San Antonio to Houston (yes, it is a little off the main track). The shop is amazing, Beverly is a gracious host and the back verandah behind the shop is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshing beer. Highly recommended.

Greeted with friendly "what can I get you to drink?" Beer was very reasonably priced and they chose a chardonnay for my wife that matched her liking. They have a ton of "stuff" literally floor to ceiling and hanging from the walls but I'm not even sure they have food. So, be careful, there seemed to be a correlation between how much we drank and how much we bought. As much as we liked browsing the "stuff" we decided to eat elsewhere. While we were there it was clear that locals liked hanging out here as well.

If you are a shopper, great place to browse! If you're not a shopper, you can drink beer. A bit crowded, so not a good stop for rambuncious kiddos.

A store full of "stuff". Nice area in back to just sit. Over 300 brands of beer and many old things i guess you would call antiques.
