Dining area floors and tables had food and trash all over it. The drink area was horribly dirty and not stocked. Staff was very rude. Sat at the drive thru for 15 min and no one ever acknowledged me so I decided to go in....Should have left but we ordered. The food was very good I have to say. Someone needs to clean that place up and hire different peopleMore

I should have read the other reviews posted here before "attempting" to eat at this Dairy Queen; however, I didn't and it was a waste of time and money. The other reviews are VERY similar to our experience and I literally could've copy and pasted...them to align with our experience. The dining area was BEYOND FILTHY - EVERY single table and seat was DIRTY. The employees are RUDE! No "hello", "Can I help you?", "thank you." The only words out of the girl's mouth when taking our order was to tell us our total. She seemed bothered to be there and having to wait on us...like she was being held captive to work there. If you don't like your job, then quit & find another one - it's not rocket science!! I didn't eat a single bite of my food and threw the entire meal away to avoid getting sick. This used to be a convenient location to stop at when driving from the metroplex to Lubbock, but I'd rather eat food from Allsup's from now on!! Lesson learned! I have NO idea how this DQ location is still open!More

Pretty typical DQ and a little off of the beaten path. Friendly and populated with locals I assume. The steak fingers I had were soggy and it was well past time to change the grease.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a chocolate shake on our five-hour trip from Lubbock. We’ve not always gotten friendly service at this DQ, but this time was very different. As soon as we stepped through the door, we received a hearty...welcome, cheerful conversation and quick delivery of our shake. The shakes are always tasty, but even more so with friendly service! We hope this service continues.More

My wife and I sometimes stop at the Seymour DQ because it’s about half way between Dallas and Lubbock. We do so out of necessity mostly, not because of the service or food. After nearly three hours of driving, we need to rest. Sometimes we’ll...brave the bland, unfriendly service to get a chocolate shake like we did today. The shakes are OK, but not like the ones I remember when growing up. At least at DQ you know what you’re going to get, unlike the surprising local establishments!More

We were traveling from Oklahoma back to New Mexico and stopped at this Dairy Queen. (There were 3 families with us) We walked in and there was a couple at the register waiting to be helped. There was a girl standing in the corner on...her phone. She wasn't happy that she had to get off her phone to take there order, but she did. Never said Hello or may I help you! Just starred at them! After she took their order she walked to the ice cream machine(slowly) to make there shakes. She walked to the back and then came back to take my daughter and her family order. Never said hello or can I help you, Nothing!! She took there money and didn't have enough cash for a $100.00 so she asked for the manager. The manager came to the front(pissed because she had to come to the front) stood by the register while she gave the employee the key to get some change. When the girl came back with the change the manager finished the transaction. Never said thank you! A guy from the back come up and took one of our orders. He wasn't friendly but be wasn't as rude as the 2 girls They finally finished getting all our orders. It took us 30 minutes to get our orders. There was literally one other guy in the restaurant. This was the worst service I had ever received at a restaurant! When you walk in they literally act like "Why are you here and do you really expect me to wait on you". I own a restaurant and if these would have been my employees they would have been fired on the spot. Needless to say "I will never darken there door ever again, for any reason"!! I do not recommend this Dairy Queen!!!More

Let me start by saying that we didn’t even get to taste the food! Arrived at 11:18 on a Monday. Women’s restroom had no toilet paper. Ordered food before 11:30 - a hunger buster combo and a steak finger basket - our order # was...10. At 12:02 after they had called up to order # 18 and the guy next to us who had arrived atleast 15 minutes after us received his order of steak fingers, we asked to see the manager. She came from the back clearly ticked off that she had been asked for. We told her our issue and she proceeded to tell us that steak fingers take 20 minutes to cook and that our order was being worked on. We told her 2 orders of steak finger baskets had gone out since we had been there to people that came in after us. She was rude, non apologetic and should not be in a customer service roll anywhere let alone a manager! She offered no solution and clearly made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We told her we wanted a refund and she slammed open the drawer and obliged. I hope that this is not a normal day at the DQ in Seymour but her attitude and representation makes me believe that it is. Stay away from this DQ!More

The employees seem nice and always get our food right! It’s typical DQ treats and food but makes a nice pit stop between DFW and LBK!

Stopped here for a rest room break and a bite of lunch. I had the Chicken and Dumplings which was surprisingly good! The service was friendly and the food was what you would expect from DQ. We stop here often on our road trips.

We were driving from Northeast TX to Lubbock. From Seymour to Lubbock there is not another place to stop. The place was dirty from the moment you touched the front door. Floor had not been cleaned in days. Tables filthy dirty and there was only...1 other table being used.More
