This is our go to place for Asian food. I love their soups and my husband loves all the curries. NIce people and yes they do deliver!

This is my oldest {age 16) grandson's favrote restaurant. It is nice and peacful and the staff is excellent. The food is very good and maybe costs a little more but worth it. We probably go there once a month. We took friends there last month and they enjoyed it. I recommend it.

I took my four year old granddaughter here for a quick dinner after s movie last night. They were delightful & so attentive. I ordered General Tso chicken & a children’s chicken tenders that came with fried rice for my granddaughter. She loved the fried rice & my chicken was crispy with a nice tangy sauce. The appetizer; a fried wonton and sweet & sour dip was a nice touch and welcome surprise to hold her over until dinner arrived. I have had takeout from here and it was good too but having the food arrive extra hot & fresh was the best. Thank you Leah & Ken!

Had my first food from the Golden Pot tonight. Decided to try their Sweet and Sour Chicken since is was in a special part of their menu. Was surprised to get a couple of dozen chicken nuggets, a tub of sweet and sour sauce, and a container of less than average fried rice -- little or no fried egg, no onion, no nothing else. One could have walked around the corner and gotten the same quality for less dollars at the Royal Buffet. Whatever happened to the pineapple, bell pepper, and onion that used to be served with the Sweet and Sour Chicken entree?

The experience was wonderful. The dishes were fresh and well prepared. We ordered chicken in garlic sauce, mixed vegetables with Tofu and Szechuan beef. Everything was very freshly prepared and very tasty. The food was authentic. Desserts were good we moiche mango ice cream. Well done.

Perfect location by the DART rail station. Call them on the ride home and your dinner is ready for pick up when you reach the Downtown Rowlett station. Hot and sour soup was very good. Service is friendly and efficient

We’ve tried all the Asian food restaurants in Rowlett, and by far this one is our favorite. It has a wide variety of dishes., but wE especially like the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry.

We really enjoy Golden Pot food. We have tried several other local restaurants in Rowlett and always end up ordering our food from here. If you order off the lunch menu during the designated lunch hours you can get the best price. Everyone in our family has a different preference so we always end up getting four different lunch entrees. I have one vegan, and one vegetarian in the family but there are plentiful menu selections for both. The food is favorful and fresh. The dishes with the breaded chicken aren't crunchy and hard but soft and texturally pleasing. I have had some breaded chicken meals where you get more breading than chicken and this hasn't been our experience. Even if you dine in the service is fast and the table servers personable and polite. The vegetables are fresh, meals are resonably proportioned and the restaurant is clean and has good lighting.

After eating our way across the State Fair grounds we thought some Asian food would be best to top the day. Starting with a great egg drop soup we moved on to the main course for me.....spicy Kung Pao chicken. Delish and I know now where to get good Chinese food when visiting Texas.

I think this restaurant is just ok or average. The food is ok but rather pricey and considering Chinese is mainly rice or noodles it's to expensive for what you get. Been here a couple times with the kids and it is family friendly as far as environment but not friendly as far as your wallet.
