I'm from Boston and we have some very good breakfast joints. This one is right up there. Service on coffee refills is unparalleled. Food was spot on in flavor and portion. Daily specials are inventive and hearty. Can't go wrong. Pancakes must have something illegal in them, they are that good. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Enjoy!!!

This is an absolutely fabulous neighborhood breakfast restaurant. That being said, It has become too popular in our estimation. The last two visits have been clouded by perceived inconsistent quality of breakfast meats. The results of which have been intestinal duress for both of us both times. The coffee is great! Maybe that is the key element.

I did not expect to write a breakfast review on a coffee shop - but then again, I was in Texas and you can always expect the unexpected. The Café Java was suggested by a friend and I was not disappointed. Great food, slight wait (about 10 minutes) for seating, and... GREAT COFFEE.

Cafe Java is a very good breakfast spot as evidenced by how busy it is. Wait times can be 20-30 minutes at peak breakfast times. The staff is efficient and the friendly. The food is fresh and tasty, especially the egg dishes. Come inside and poor yourself a fresh coffee while you wait.

This is for the Gattis School Rd location. I was driving on my way to work and looking for a place to get some espresso to add to my vanilla protein drink. I saw Cafe Java and dropped in expecting a coffee shop. They do have a coffee counter but it's really a sweet little cafe. They offer a vast... More

The wait was worth it. The waffles were great. Just perfect. Coffee was super good. My daughter had an eggs dish which was good. The crowd is always there. I never see the front empty of people. That said, if you are one or two the wait is very very short. There are many tables for 2. The service is... More

Portions are decent sized. Prices are fair. Wait staff is friendly and helpful. Kinda small, so not good for a big group.

My favorite place to have breakfast in Round Rock, TX. The coffee is real good and service is great. It's a small place so there's a good chance you'll have a wait time but it's well worth it.

We're staying at a hotel, hanging out by the pool. Wanted some lunch, but something lighter. I got the half turkey blt sandwich & tortilla soup combo. Which was very tasty. My wife got the veggie sandwich with cottage cheese & peaches. She reported that it was also very good. Both came with pickles and was ready within 10 minutes... More
