It's like your sitting and eating in Louisiana. Tremendous cook with excellent seasoning and prices. This is a MUST stop in the Roanoke area.

Golf buddies and I stop here for lunch and have not been disappointed. They make a great Bloody Mary, not only know how to make a great roux for their gumbo, but also put plenty of shrimp, chicken and sausage in it with little rice. Their fried catfish satisfies two guys who are very particular about this dish which is... More

Bayou Jacks is a cute corner resturant that is located in the city center of Roanoke,Texas. It's small casual atmosphere. The shrimp and oyster basket was my choice. My family members ordered catfish with hush puppies. They have fast service, friendly staff. The seafood is fresh and great tasting. This place is a diamond in the rough for good seafood.... More

Located on Main St in Roanoke. this is a great place for a Sat afternoon light lunch. We shared three different appetizers which were very unique choices. Two in the party followed up with gumbo, and I enjoyed the crawfish bisque. Everything was quite good, and we most certainly will return. Atmosphere is quite casual and it also has an... More

We are regular eaters at Jacks. The menu has changed recently and they have added crab bombs. It was fabulous! So much crab in each bite. Enough for a full meal, or you can share with your companions if you must... The ceviche is a flavor explosion of joy. Also big enough for a meal of you can keep your... More

My family enjoys visiting Bayou Jacks. The food is good, but I haven't found anything craveable there yet. The atmosphere is fine for families.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was seated immediately. The Hostess recommended the crab wonton appetizer and the Shrimp Grits entree---she was spot on! The crab wonton had five pieces and was served on a rectangular plate with a drizzle of two sauces. Wished there were 10 pieces---amazing cole slaw finished the appetizer plate off nicely. The Shrimp Grits... More
