Tacos e Mas is a small and very clean venue at which one orders food at a counter, finds a seat at a table and waits for deliciousness. The signature tacos are most impressive, but of all the items I've tried, none has been regretted....The street tacos are the best I've tasted anywhere and the breakfast tacos, served all day, are really good - particularly the chorizo & egg. One significant difference between this restaurant and other allegedly Mexican places lies in the salsa choices. There are five in varying degrees of spiciness, all of which are very flavorful. The middle choice would equal or surpass the degree of spiciness of most other Mexican restaurants. The two hottest salsas remain very flavorful, but need to be treated with respect.More
I heard about this place online as one of the best street taco's. So i had high expectations. However, the food was far from award winning. the fish taco (tilapia) had a bad odor and the shrimps were tiny salad shrimps. The salsa's were just...OK. There are far better places to get tacos for $8. I suggest torchy's or Tacho OchoMore
I am from Fort Wayne, IN and I must say the Tacos back there are more authentic. However, this place is not bad. I ordered Barbacoa and Carnitas(street tacos) and pescador(shrimp) and presidente (strips of steaks) special tacos. I prefer the street tacos, it taste...more authentic then the special tacos. The horchata (cinnamon rice water) is good and guacamole is also good.More
This place makes "street tacos." The corn taco shells are hot and soft and they double them up so that they don't break when they load them up with your choice of about 7 lunch taco meats and several breakfast taco meats (by the way,...breakfast is served all day). They have tacos, quesadillas, tortilla soup, rice, beans, potatoes, and even hot stuffed churos for dessert. On weekends you csn also get tamales and menudo. $1.99 per taco or a plate of 3 with rice and beans for about $8.00. Not your run of the mill hamurger meat in a hard shell. This stuff is hot, moist, and delicious. They also cater.More
