El Patio is located on the main street through Presidio and has a comfortable small town cafe atmosphere. Very friendly accommodating staff and mostly local clientele. Primarily Mexican food selections but also breakfast and burger options. Delicious salsas. Worth the stop.

Pretty good Mexican food! Charro beans got high marks and the rest of the Mexican food was flavorful and authentic. Iced Tea was not good.

This is a wonderful Mexican Restaurant. We took the Enmoladas - chicken enchiladas in a mole sauce - and the mole was perfect, just as good as the best ones in Mexico. The chips and salsa are homemade and oh so delicious... Great service, reasonable prices, fantastic food.

Very good Mexican food made with fresh ingredients. If you are traveling the scenic route to Big Bend, this is a great stop. Food was a little slow coming out, but employees were very friendly and attentive.

While driving Rt. 170 River Road, we found this restaurant in the middle of the town on a main street. The food was excellent and my husband thought that the hamburger was super. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

We stopped here on our way across the border, and were very much satisfied with our experience there. The food was good, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was appropriate. We arrived just in time before closing time (9 pm), yet they did not make us feel rushed. The available ice cream and cake for dessert were a nice... More

Yummy breakfast. Homemade wheat tortillas. Good chips and spicy salsa. Pleasant, clean, good value. Popular with locals.

We left Terlingua Ghost Town to drive the River road and ended up in Presidio at lunch time. El Patio was easy to find (go straight when 170 turns north once you get into town). The restaurant will be on your left. White building with large red letters. Parking is available behind the building or on the street out front.... More

Eat here whenever I'm in town for work. Quick service and prices. Well worth the trip and money for such a small town
