We stopped in after a day at Big Bend State Park. Clean with a real old school vibe. Overall, very tasty and authentic home cooked Tex Mex. Quick service with very good prices.
My only complaint was that the iced tea was not good, other...than that I was quite satisfied.More
The service and food were good, and the place was very clean. However, being from Virginia, we were surprised that the dishes were on the bland side. Nevertheless, it is a relaxing stop. Also, they have ice cream.
Hungry, we stopped on our short road trip from Big Bend NP through BBSP.
The mole sauce was so rich with flavor.
The quesadilla was so big, had to take some to go to snack on later.
All around delicious!
One man was serving the entire restaurant and while he seemed friendly enough he was just overwhelmed. Took a tad over thirty minutes to get our food which was nothing to write home about. Would we go back? No.
