After hearing so much about it we went there with friends, it is suppose to be family run restaurant how ever they must have been having problems because they were not there. The service was poor as well as the food. we tried again and the second time it was a little better and speaking to the owner he told... More

Whenever I have a craving for biscuits and gravy I come here. Its a family run business and it feels like mom and dad are cooking just for you. If Steve is there and offers the giant cinnamon try it and there other delicious pastries.

We tried this on a recommendation from our neighbor. It is absolutely nothing to look at. Everything is made from scratch and service is very friendly but not fast. We went on Thursday early and ordered a chicken pot pie, it's only made on Thursday and they run out if you don't order. The place was packed , the pot... More

Great best place for breakfast we will definitely be back. Cinnamon rolls as big as a child's head! Food is great and prices are too.

I had the fish plate, my husband had a bowl of veg soup (billed at $6.75). I saw a round heavily breaded thing on my plate and when I took my fork to it, it chipped apart....turned out to be a clam shell with a little stuffing inside (why would you bread a shell?). Soup had few veggies in a... More

This is an unassuming looking place but great local spot. I don't think you can find better value than here and when Steve is their it is entertaining.

Looking for a no non-sense, no frills place to have an old fashioned hamburger or some fried seafood? This place screams old Port Isabel as a tiny restaurant that can get packed with locals and tourists alike. Nothing wrong with the fried shrimp and fish here. They know what they are doing in the kitchen and the appreciative customers show... More

Today was our first time at Fisherman's and won't be the last. My husband had the fish special and said it was some of the best he's had. I had the hamburger steak meal special which was delicious. There is a great variety of food choices, something for everyone and we are anxious to try other dishes. Everything is made... More
