The cautions of walking into a restaurant not really knowing what to expect & walking out knowing a whole lot about the food, people, & history of this place. Come to find out our friends from our dolphin trip earlier in the day are also friends with Joe & crew.... We almost watched our diner being caught this morning not... More

With area temps in the high 90's this past week, we decided to head over to Joe's for a nice cold beer, and fresh seafood. The service was excellent, as we have come to expect at Joe's, and the food took less than 15 minutes to get to our table. We started with the cerviche, then we moved right into... More

The best sea food in the area by far. All sea food is very fresh. It is small, the attention is very personal... The food has great seasoning and has a typical gulf flavor..... I really recommend this place....

I've been here at least 3 times, and every time the food has been amazing. I've tried their shrimp, fried fish, crab cakes, and crab stuffed jalapeno and they all tasted amazingly fresh and delicious. The breading is crispy, never greasy, and full of flavor. I've also heard great things about their ceviche and oysters. We were served by David... More

We were leaving SPI and were hungry. We made a wrong turn and came across Joe's. The food was excellent! We will definitely be going again next time we are in town! My Wubby and I have decided Joe's will be our "new spot". Two thumbs up for the service and the food! Very much worth it.

Stayed on South Padre last week, saw the reviews for this place and had to try. So glad we stopped in! Excellent service as well as fresh, delicious seafood! No frills, but they don't need to do anything to dress up what they're serving...highly recommend!

I stop at Joes on the way into South Paste Island to get all my Ceviche and Shrimp to go for the next few days I spend on the Island. Their Ceviche is made fresh daily, and sitting on ice in 1/2 pint containers ready to be picked up and enjoyed! You can also grab a couple lbs of fresh... More
