Upon entering it is as if you are being seated in a family kitchen. The service is fast and friendly. The cafe is clean and it stays very busy. The locals are friendly also. We have had breakfast and lunch here. They were both wonderful-cooked just as you ask-whether they want it that way. Sunny side up eggs rare steak... More

Food is good, servers are very sweet and quick! We drove over from Corpus Christi and there aren't many choices here, but this place made me feel like a "regular"

We ate breakfast here Sat. morning. It's nothing extraordinary but the food was good, the service was great and the price was right!

This is a little restaurant on the corner of E. Ave. C that was within a few blocks of the condo that we stayed at. We went there for breakfast and had a pretty good meal. It's nothing to rave about, but we did like the food.

Very busy and great for breakfast! You definitely get what you pay for but be ready to pay. No kids menu for breakfast. Potions are large and very good. If homestyle cooking is what you are looking for then this is your place! Would definitely recommend for breakfast.

I went in for dinner! Clean place great portions on the food! I had the roast with fries and beans also came with full salad bar for under $11! That is cheap for here! I took food home because I couldn't eat it all.

Been going to Island Cafe for a couple of years now, the Fish is amazing. The Fish N' Chips is a huge serving...but for a larger appetite, try the all you can eat fish. The shrimp was huge and tasty. We've gone for breakfast in the past, and enjoyed it just as much...won't ever make the trip to Port A... More

We've eaten breakfast here twice and enjoyed it both times. Good omelettes. Great service. We'll go back next time we're in town.

We had the best time - waitress was super sweet and attentive! We got our food before our kids could ask - where's the food? Which is pretty good when you have a 5 & 3 year old! The boys got pancakes and sausage - split the short stack - PANCAKES WERE HUGE! My husband got the Huevos Rancheros (I... More
