This is a great place that is large and the wait is not usually that bad. The menu has an array of options but seafood is at the helm of choices. The location and environment is great with great views. Very casual and good size portions that can easily be shared.

Location is great. Try to get a table by the bay. Food is marginal. Prices are ok. Wait staff was attentive and a nice surprise. Place has a cool vibe and is laid back. Good decor but again, food was just 'ok'.

We had lunch here today. The clam chowder was very good and the oyster poor boy was also good. My wife had the grilled seafood platter which was excellent. Nice day to look at the boats and have a leisurely lunch.

We've been coming to Port Aransas for several years and eaten at many different restaurants. Our new go to place is Virginia's On The Bay! The food and service are excellent, and we love the airy, rustic charm and views of the bay. I also appreciate having vegetarian options on the menu. LOVE THE VEGGIE BURGER! Can't wait for next... Good food well prepared. The wedge salad is great. The fish and chicken dinners were great. Moderate to high prices reflected in the quality of the food.

I was a bit disappointed in the menu selection. I'm not really into fried seafood and that was the main choices. I tried one of the fresh fish dishes. It was okay but nothing special. I like special sauces or fresh salsas. The service was very good and the view was nice. Perhaps a return visit for a cold beer.

Everything about the place was great! Beautiful scenery and food ! Had the fish and shrimp ,with fries and hush puppies. Kids had the shrimp and they were happy ! Also had a couple of cocktails off the drink menu.

The whole restaurant is open...never hot....lots of fans and I swear the breeze from the water makes every drink and all the food taste even better. If you have to wait for your table then take a seat at the pretty bar that sets in the middle and you will still have a great view from every direction. The menu... More

Best seafood and overall food in the area I believe. We've been coming here for years any time we come to Port A. The fish is fresh, the staff is friendly, they may have a slight wait but it's worth it. I personally recommend the fried fish, though my brother loves the oysters. Haven't found something I don't like yet.

Nothing beats slowing down, having a drink with some oysters on the half shell at Virginia's on the Bay!
