You will not be disappointed in any of the dishes! Great casual surroundings! Service was ok. They only accept cash or checks. Beer was cold!

I ate here for dinner on a Wednesday night. I had gumbo, the seafood platter, and some key lime pie. All were excellent. Best food I've had in the last few days.

Small place so be prepared to wait. Service was good. Fried flounder was very good. Wanted to go back the next evening for another round. Onion rings are a must. Food was hot and fresh tasting.

My wife and I recently enjoyed dinner at this laid-back island restaurant. The owners/operators are a hard-working family who have created a niche dining experience in a small and worn wooden structure near the tip of Mustang Island. Service was good, food was very good and the wine was decent. The cook is a rather gruff no-nonsense guy who clearly... More

One server takes you drink and appetizer order, another takes your entree order then 3 or 4 young men running around delivering food ande" bussing tables. Gumbo, peel and eat shrimp are fantastic. Service was great. Only complaint was we had to go up and ask for our check, then wait 5 min for someone to find it. Oh and... More

Great food! Great service. Fantastic wine menu! Red Snapper Pontchatrain. Get there early. You would miss it driving by if you weren't actually looking for it.

Came to the island with the family for a quick little getaway and found this place. It's family friendly and has great service. I ordered the gumbo and some flounder. Some of the best I've had. The more impressive thing was that my wife ordered grilled chicken (yes I know, grilled chicken at a seafood restaurant lol) and it was... More

I haven't actually eaten in the restaurant, but I ordered the seafood gumbo "to go". The server asked if I'd like it cold so I could reheat it later, to which I thanked her and said yes, and she packed it very well for me. Once I ate it later, I was pretty convinced that this may be my new... More

Stuffed flounder and ceviche nuff said!!!! I visit port a three to four times a year and wish that the hours of the facility we're open more frequently throughout the year it seems this place is seasonal because many trips I've been down and nobody's home

We stopped in to check out this place after reading the reviews. The place doesn't seem like much on the outside but it's got it where it counts - the food. We decided to sit outside and was comfortable doing so at our 7:30 dining hour. Menu prices were slightly more than I initially anticipated but the portions were good.... More
