We were told to come here by someone who grew up coming to Port A and now owns her family's summer house. It's definitely a place regulars and locals go. This was now our third time to come to the Venetian and while we did once, in the past, have a less than warm reception by the lady in the... More

Loooonnnngggggg wait for a salad. The two of us were almost through with our bottle of wine before our entrees came out. Our dishes were mostly a mound of spaghetti with bland sauce and some seafood in it.

I apologize for your extended wait time. I have addressed this review with the staff and we are trying to remedy the problem it is most likely due to a recent change in personnel in the kitchen and training takes time. AS for your pasta if you are not happy with any dish from our kitchen please let us know... More

Linda and her staff consistently offer a unique dining experience. Lovely atmosphere, and a place to relax. This is a place to be enjoyed sans children. I for one, am glad that there's not kids running around. It's a romantic place, but a nice, quiet one too. We usually start out with a caesar salad, with or without anchovies, or... More

Bad service, overrated. Long waits for water, your main course and someone who cared. My husband almost cancelled our dinner order. He asked for water 3x to no avail. They arrogantly do not seat parties of 6 or more together and for the price? Not worth it..I won't return. Ever.

We have been here before, loved it, wanted to go again, but it didn't make the list this time. Why? No children's menu. I called to ask. We had our 7 year old great niece with us, and the best this great restaurant could do is a half order of pasta with a red sauce. An Italian menu with no... More

Our family LOVES a good Caprese Salad and Venetian Hot Plate does it right! They might not want to put as much "decorative balsamic" around the bowl, but the "Balsamic Balls" on top are the bomb! Would come here for this, if nothing else! Was a little disappointed in the Spaghetti Pescatora bc it was a little too salty, but... More

This amazing restaurant has only gotten better. We were lucky to have planned ahead and ordered two portions of their fabulous lasagna for our Saturday night dinner. All their food is delicious but you can only get the lasagna if you call ahead and place your order before Saturday. Compliment it with their amazing Cesar salad and dip that yummy... More

We ate here at last moment without a reservation but that was a weekday. I have a feeling it's not possible to do on a busy weekend. I suggest you call to make one. This is a beach town so we had a late start on dinner after enjoying the beach. We originally headed to another business to eat that... More

We had two pasta dishes but I can't remember their names. One had shrimp and scallops in a cream sauce and one had shrimp, scallops, clams, and mussels in a white wine sauce. Both were very tasty. Make your reservation early to avoid having to rush through dinner.

Venetian Hot Plate is absolutely wonderful, featuring fresh, authentic flavors. The atmosphere is quiet and lovely. We had the pleasure of dining here twice during our stay, once with friends and again on our own. Linda, the owner, is friendly, outgoing and warm. The wait staff, Paul, Kika and Samantha, was superb! They were all friendly. The salads are fresh... More
