We are a family of foodies in Port A for a beach trip. Beach food is not necessarily foodie food. I searched the reviews long and hard to find a place that had potential to actually have good food, and Liberty Hall stood out for the creativity of the menu and the positive reviews. But then, we also have little... More

When Guy, the owner, is in the kitchen, you will not have a finer meal anywhere else whether it be the gumbo, fried shrimp or the fresh stuffed flounder. Simply the best We dined there last Saturday night, and the placed was packed at 8:30pm. I do miss the bar that Guy had at the old Pelican Club restaurant.

Very fresh and very well prepared seafood. We each ordered a different item off the menu and everything was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend.

My wife and I ate there this past Saturday for our anniversary and it was one of the best meals we have had in port a. The place was packed and we had to wait over an hour for a table but it was definitely worth the wait. A previous reviewer was offended when asked to leave. They sat there... More

Just ate here and was Very disappointed!!! Was very pricey, but expected that for a "good" dinner. Food took forever and was not seasoned at all. But worst of all, we had a $200+ dollar meal and was enjoying old high school friends visiting. Our waitress actually came Over and asked us to leave because there were others that needed... More

Chef Guy knows his food and the hostess makes everyone so welcomed. This little corner restaurant is a wonderful dinning experience. My husband and I have eaten here twice. Both times we enjoyed the tasty food, you got to give it a try! The second time we took our son who is studying to be a chef and he used... More

I have never been disappointed when I've gone to Liberty Hall! The food is absolutely delicious. We got scallops and oysters as appetizers, impressive. Swordfish for my entree, was cooked perfectly. I think my favorite thing is they give you simple syrup to sweeten your tea with, so good! The service is great and everyone is friendly!

We took a chance on Liberty Hill tonight and were very impressed. Don't be fooled by the plain exterior, the dining room is a lovely space. The hostess and waitress were welcoming and helpful. Menu is focused on fish, the grilled snapper with lemon was incredible. We've eaten at many restaurants in Port Aransas and this is the new favorite.
