We have had amazing dinners at Roosevelt's in the past and often recommend this restaurant to friends. We made reservations for our wedding anniversary. The chef and staff are visible from the front door and dining room but didn't seem busy. The hostess could not find our reservation at first but when she did she simply waived at an open... More

We chose to eat here on a Monday night, so it wasn't busy. We didn't need a reservation, and were seated right away. Since it was our first time there, our waiter gave us the history lesson regarding the place, which was interesting. I had the ahi tuna, and my husband had the seafood pasta. Both were good, but frankly,... More

Small, intimate, and great atmosphere in a historical hotel and restaurant. This is an amazing dining experience in a small fishing community. Who would have thought? The chef superbly prepared freshly caught seafood, as well as steaks, chicken, quail.......the bread was divine! Excellent wine choices and decadent desserts. We were celebrating a friends birthday and it was a perfect evening!

Went last night here ( had reservations) quit a long wait to get food. They had a birthday party. The food was good very tasty and hot. A word to the chief please roast the... More

We were seated right away, got drinks and ordered. We waited quite a while before our food arrived but the steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious!! The asparagus and potatoes were also excellent. Oh yes, our coconut shrimp appetizer was good also!! Excellent food and service but a little slow on getting the food to the table.

We went to Roosevelt's last summer and had a nice experience with good service and good food so we were looking forward to a repeat performance this summer. However we were very disappointed last night when our group of 10 took over 2 hours to be served. Many of the meals were cold. My snapper was really good and hot... More

This was one of the best seafood restaurants we dined at while in Port A. Never attempted oysters until tasting them broiled at the Tarpon. OMG. When can we move to this island? Blacked Drum was excellent along with other entrees - and all reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed.

Our vacation "night out" was at Roosevelt's. Very quaint dinning room with additional patio seating. Wife's wine selection was not available, but the waitress suggested a very nice replacement. Firecracker tenderloin appetizer was a bit too spicy for the lady, but not for me. She had the Petite Tenderloin that was cooked just right and was delicious. I had the... More

We have been to Roosevelt's three times and all three times have had superb meals. Great menu and super appetizers. Oysters Rockefeller are to DIE for!!! Great drinks and the menu never disappoints. Entrees from $20-35 but worth it!! Full bar even though not advertised. Reservations a MUST!!
