While you may think from looking from the outside it is a whole in the wall place think again it's the best breakfast in Port A. It may be small but good things come in small packages. Worth the wait and well the food is amazing we will certainly be back!

I had the shrimp omelette stuffed with 3 jumbo sized shrimp with fried potatoes and a super fluffy biscuit for only $8.95. The side of bacon was all meat and perfectly crisp. My husband had the crispy flipper - a waffle topped with a Rice Krispy infused pancake- which had just the right amount of sweet with a unique crunch.... More

If you go on a weekend for breakfast, you'll wait about an hour or more to get in but the food is incredible, and you get plenty of it. It's a small place, maybe 10 tables or so, and people wait outside to get seated. Every one of them will tell you it's worth the wait and they are right.... More

My husband and I loved this place! Small Reaturant with only 5 or 6 tables. We had to wait about 15 min outside on a picnic table. Amazing eggs Benedict!! Great coffee! The ham and cheese omelette was delicious and the breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly. If you are in a hurry then drive through Whataburger! Definitely worth the wait!!

Great breakfast here. Met owner. Charming local. Said wait can be up to 1 1/2 hours in high season. Just 6 tables, but expected to share empty seats. Said Texas Monthly magazine was in last month to do a write up. Saw an amazing banana pudding waiting in the cooler for one of the day's desserts. Definitely will come back... More

Prepare yourself because it is a very small place! The portions are HUGE! I found the staff to be very nice and really tried to accommodate in any way. Food is very good! I will definitely go back! Best breakfast in Port A!

I went here with a friend to pick up some chow for my parents. I had no idea that most of the items on the menu would be upwards of 20$, with the "cheaper" sandwiches and burgers costing 18$. I ordered the fish and it came out fine. The food was good but I wouldn't say it was fantastic. Next... More

I couldn't help having my feelings hurt by your incorrect comment about our burger price. Our menu clearly shows the price of a hamburger @ $10.99 and w/cheese $11.99. We have recently opened our business to a fine dinning experience starting at 5:00 pm. Our burgers are made with a half pound of freshly ground lean beef. More

All I can say is, if you have to wait do so... It's well worth it. The eggs Benedict, shrimp omelet and Crispy Flipper were all better than you could imagine. Fresh OJ and Coffee as well as service with a smile. A great little place on the island to have an awesome meal. There is a reason this place... More

I picked Frankie's Place because it had a 4 1/2 star rating, misleading. $115 for breakfast of 4 adults 3 kids. Small hole in the wall place with big prices. Wife said bathroom was clean, friendly service, were seated fairly quickly which was a good thing since waiting area was outside in Summer heat (no shade), 1 hr wait for... More

I reviewed your guest check and noticed that the tip was included in your $115.00, which our server appreciated. The average breakfast, with coffee costs around $12.00 per person. Unlimited refills and large portions satisfy most customers. Thank you for your business. More

Frankie's looks questionable on the outside but we tried it out based on TA reviews. There was no wait when we arrived, but by the time we left people were putting themselves on a waiting list chalkboard outside the restaurant. The menu has standard and unique home cooked breakfast items. Grits take a while. Ask what the flipper is, I... More
