Frankie's looks questionable on the outside but we tried it out based on TA reviews. There was no wait when we arrived, but by the time we left people were putting themselves on a waiting list chalkboard outside the restaurant. The menu has standard and unique home cooked breakfast items. Grits take a while. Ask what the flipper is, I... More

Frankie is in the kitchen and cooking up delicious breakfast disguised as comfort food. My wife had a pancake which she said was Very Good. I was too busy devouring my grub so I didn't have a chance to taste it. I had the Country Breakfast with sunny side eggs, country potatoes, thin and crispy bacon and homemade biscuit. It... More

Don't let the wait discourage you. Put your name on the white board. Walk around the marina and come back for the shrimp omelette. House potatoes and the buttermilk biscuit were to die for. Everything made to order and from scratch

My husband and I had a late lunch here on a Friday in July. Frankie's is a local dive with decor from the 70's and a very layed back vibe. We both ordered fish and shrimp combo. 2 HUGE shrimp & a large cornmeal battered fried fillet of Drum came with it; as well as amazing coleslaw and homemade cut... More

The Blueberry Pancakes melted in your mouth and the eggs Benedict were fantastic!! You have to try the Snapper Throat, no words can describe this delicacy!!! The meals and employees are "Totally Awesome!" We are... More

If you have time to wait - this is the most delicious breakfast anywhere. Everything is fresh, hot & very tasty. Small restaurant, may wait an hr or more, but well worth the wait

I liked FP. It was a local, small place and the staff treated everyone kindly. Pancakes were delicious, and the shrimp omelet and eggs benedict looked outstanding. They have limited days so be sure to call.
