This place is very laid back and casual. I like it because it's where the locals go for fresh seafood. Options are mainly fried but the food is good and portions are shareable. There is a mini golf outside that is fun to keep kids entertained. Full bar and outdoor seating.

We were looking for a new place to eat in port a and we found it!!! Reminds us of our favorite bar that closed in San Antonio. We had heard good things and so decided to try it for lunch!! On the outside we were a little weary but decided to keep on. Walked in and the bartender was really... More

This is a bar that sells food. In Port Aransas, you are still allowed to smoke in restaurants/bars in certain areas-- away from a majority of the seating. Once you get past that.... you will enjoy Kody's. Diverse menu with burgers, fish and chips and other fab seafood and prime rib (yup... it is to DIE for) and has a... More

Walked in this restaurant after being chased out of a previous restaurant by a cockroach. Walked in with the family, noted cigarette smoke smell and ash trays at the bar. Got it - no big deal, not how I ordinarily try to dine with the family, but hey first night in town and we are all tired and hungry. Menu... More

We had peel and eat shrimp (good), fish tacos (pretty good) and crab cake sandwich (not so good and had a weird taste). The atmosphere is more bar-like and the food was quite expensive for what it was.

Very good...kind of shocking but so yummy. Onion rings not to be missed. Deep sea Scallops were excellent.

Food was great! The steak sandwich is very tasty! Service is a little slow because one girl is taking orders, working cash register and having to work the bar!

We went to Kody's based on our parasailing crew's suggestion. They didn't steer us wrong. Very casual atmosphere with games for the kids. The food was excellent! The garlic fish entree was spectacular, as well as the ribeye dinner. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Service was very fast and like I said, the food was great!

We enjoyed our time at Kody's during our first night in Port A. We had crab cake stuffed everything and it was tasty. Shrimp was also good. The kids had a blast playing putt putt and we enjoyed watching them and having a drink and eating dinner on the patio outside. This place got super busy right after we got... More

Took the wife and kids here while in town for a quick vacation. They have miniature golf and arcade games for the kids. Nothing fancy inside but that air conditioning sure feels good. Prices are pretty decent and the family were all happy and full.

Thank Jeremy L
