Absolutely hated it the fish is frozen and taste like crap . Would not recommend .................I asked for my for fish a certain way which could not be done if it's frozen. They should tell you that ahead of time, I stead of you having to ask

I love garlic and the garlic mahi mahi was fantastic. I could have made a meal of just the garlicky crust on the outside of the fish. Friendly staff, great food, in a bar like environment.

Looking for a good shrimp dinner went to kody's. The grilled shrimp with fries was fantastic! The stuffed shrimp dinner was excellent. The presentation of food was very unexpected due to the bar atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again

Almost walked out for rough appearance, but stayed for a very good lunch. Fish was as good or better than the shrimp. Steak sandwich and fries was excellent.

I feel that Kody is a overrated restaurant it is more of a bar scene to me the food is okay but I have had better. It was a crowded at 8:00 pm.

My friends said we had to try Kody's, so we went for lunch, with no advance notice about the "decor". When we walked through the door, I was surprised that the first thing I saw was a pool table. Typical Texas bar-looking place, and you have to stand in line to place your orders (a waitress brings the food to... More

This place is very laid back and casual. I like it because it's where the locals go for fresh seafood. Options are mainly fried but the food is good and portions are shareable. There is a mini golf outside that is fun to keep kids entertained. Full bar and outdoor seating.

We were looking for a new place to eat in port a and we found it!!! Reminds us of our favorite bar that closed in San Antonio. We had heard good things and so decided to try it for lunch!! On the outside we were a little weary but decided to keep on. Walked in and the bartender was really... More

This is a bar that sells food. In Port Aransas, you are still allowed to smoke in restaurants/bars in certain areas-- away from a majority of the seating. Once you get past that.... you will enjoy Kody's. Diverse menu with burgers, fish and chips and other fab seafood and prime rib (yup... it is to DIE for) and has a... More
