Having been around the world a time or two, I am a fan of great cuisine, but this was, without a doubt, the best Germanic food I have encountered to-date. From the sausage to the bread pudding, the flavors were much more refined than I expected. Two thumbs up!

Totally surprised by loud and rude owner--host ignored our party of 3 and seated others. We recounted the incident to owner expecting an apology and agreement to do a little training for host..but owner basically shouted, you have a seat now..whatever and walked away. Shnitzel was great but won't return.

Since moving to the DFW area, I have been looking for a good Austrian restaurant. Well, I found it. Though there is not a lot of seating, the ambience and food is delightful. The dining area is decorated with many pictures and memorabilia from Austria. The wienerschnitzel plate brought me back to having it in Salzburg. The Stiegl Goldbrau tasted... More

I have been coming here for years and this visit as with the others was excellent. The food is great and authentic. Our waitress was even from Germany. I highly recommend the pretzels as an appetizer. My only complaints would be the noise as the restaurant was full and they had quite a wait for a table.

We live a good 50 miles from this restaurant, but we go every month ... incredibly good, authentic German food. Great German beer. Very friendly people. The Oma's Paprika Schnitzel and bread pudding are my favorites!

What a lovely place!!!! Downtown Plano has revived their old downtown area to make it exceedingly nice. Jorg's is there, not only does it incorporate the charm of a revitalized area but the food is terrific as well. As the name tips you off, it is German and oh my, they are fabulous. We each ordered something different and tried... More

A good "foodie friend" of mine took us to dinner here a few weeks ago and it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is casual, the food very good and the service was great. I will be back!

We have been going to Jorg's for years. Atmosphere is amazing. Food is very, very authentic. Service is GREAT. REALLY good beer!!! My favorite---the pretzels are the bomb. Dessert---Bread Pudding. Never been a fan of bread pudding, but at Jorg's it is amazing.

The atmosphere was authentic. The beer reminded me of Germany. My dinner of Oma's pork schnitzel was okay, not great. The creme brulee was delicious but the bread pudding like dessert was bland (the cream sauce was tasty though). They only had one serving of apelkorn which was disappointing to our table of 12.

Some friends invited me to meet here while I was in Plano. I was excited to try the food as lived in Europe while my husband was military. Austria was one of the countries we visited. The food didn't disappoint and was just as good as I remember. Ordered the chicken schnitzel with red cabbage. It was absolutely delicious. Served... More
