My wife and I went to Nicola's for dinner on her birthday. We got the calamari, the carpaccio, a beet salad, and the pumpkin ravioli. Our server, Kristin, was great as usual. We always request Kristin when we have dinner at Nicola's. She's our favorite. She is very sweet. One of the managers stopped by to wish my wife a... More

Sadly this is the first really bad meal we have experienced on this trip to USA. The staff were wonderful so it's such a shame the food wasn't. My husbands bruschetta was so rock hard that it was inedible, my ravioli was like rubber. We have had great meals in other restaurants in Legacy Drive. This is one place we... More

Have dined here twice and both times it look closed when we were trying to decide whether or not to eat here. We love Italian restaurants and will always opt for them when available. Both times we almost walked away because we thought they were closed. It's just cavernous and they tend to seat people away from the windows so... More

Stopped in for early meal with some friends this past Saturday night. The food was exceptional! I had the risotto special and finished the plate while the other folks had a mixture of starters and salads to share. The starters portions were plentiful. the star was the Jalapeño calamari, get mix of spice and salty. Wine selections were real good,... More

The Central Market 4th course was a healthy portion of fried shrimp, beautifully presented. Good selections for the menu, and a GREAT cocktail menu (2nd in the area only to Pepper Smash as 1st place). Classy place, great for a date. People watching from the patio is encouraged, weather permitting.

So glad the restaurant moved uptown! Had a wonderful dinner with friends--most of them pasta lovers, as you could expect. They all agreed that the various pasta dishes they had exceeded their expectations. As for me, always craving good fish, I ordered the sea bass. I had a lovely chunk cooked to perfection, moist with a slight crust, accompanied by... More

I LOVE the pumpkin ravioli at Nicola's. Unfortunately they only offer it certain times of the year (fall- winter). My boyfriend feels Nicola's is overpriced and beyond the pumpkin ravioli there is nothing else there that floats my boat enough to insist we go there..

Nicola’s used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, last night’s dining experience was quite disappointing. Our server suggested an appetizer of, Malanzane al Forno, a delicious cheese stuffed eggplant. We should have stopped there! My entrée of veal scaloppini could be cut only after I requested a steak knife, and the pieces were joined together with an inordinate... More

Bolognese Ragu is the king of all meat sauces in Italy and the sauce prepared at Nicola's is far from anything that I've ever had in Italy or even good Italian restaurants in New York or even London! The sauce should be silky smooth and clinging to the pasta...theirs was more of a tomato sauce with ground meat (not even... More

Visited here this past weekend. Still an amazing northern Italian food experience. And, most surprising, the vale for the money is spot on. You can't beat fresh made pasta. Service was ok but friendly. And valet parking is complimentary.
