My food was very bland. I was disappointed. Hopefully this was just a bad day. Maybe a bad catch. Will not be back..

This restaurant is in my home town. Only get here a few times a year, but the salmon is superb. Service quick and very good. Large portions of food cooked to perfection. Nice interior - clean. Lots of free parking. On the main drag - US75 but quiet inside. You can get 'cajun' oriented meals or just regular fish entrees.... More

We have been going to Fishmongers, ever since Jim and Patti Elrod, opened this restaurant. Through the years the menu has grown and the food, beverage and service have been great. I would strongly recommend any of the fish specials because of the freshness of the seafood. We also, enjoy their gumbo and desserts. Their breading pudding is better than... More

Ate here today, try to go when I am in Plano on holidays, went for lunch , not too busy, it's not fine dining but the food is good, not big on atmosphere , but they have the greatest bread pudding, lunch specials good, had fish and chips, $6.95, 3 prices of fish, nice batter, only disappointment was the chips,... Very lucky to have found this place! Great good and gray staff. Would recommend to everyone. Very homey atmosphere and a nice place for families to share a Sunday dinner at.

A group of us decided to meet here for our monthly lunch. First of all the restaurant is not a fancy place. However the service was excellent and my drink level never reached halfway. I had the fried shrimp which was lightly breaded and fried perfectly. It came with choice of side, red beans and rice was my choice, and... More

This is certainly not a fancy seafood restaurant. The outside looks inviting however inside is rather sparse. The wait service was Ok but not hurried and it was lunch time. Our fish was good and cooked just right. Had a difficult time locating our waiter for water and tea refills. We will probably go back.

Check the daily specials, they usually have some good choices. This place has been around Plano for decades, and you can usually count on a decent meal with decent service. However, I always leave hungry because the portions are small. But the prices are small too. I would pay more for a full meal. It is good enough you want... More

The food was good: fresh grilled seafood, large portions. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Fishmonger's catered my mom's 70th birthday. They cooked very tasty and affordable red beans and rice and gumbo. We picked it up and it was perfect for her party of about 75. I am from Louisiana and I am hard to please, when it comes to my gumbo and red beans. This hit the spot. It was affordable and really... More
