We went with a group of 8 and sat near the band. They were amazing- funny and very talented. We had to leave to get to a play but we wish we could have stayed longer. Food was good (not great) and a bit expensive. They have gluten free bread, but it took a long time to come out of... More

Owner is German and he hires local Germans so you can get authentic service, food, beer, and even practice your German while here. Beer Garden area in nice weather. Free live music at 7 pm. Nurnberger sausages, Maultaschen, and beer. Great stuff!

I stopped by there today with my oldest daughter. The bartender greeted us and we grabbed a seat at the bar in the beer garden. They have plenty of German beers on tap and in bottles. The bartender offered a few samples and recommendations, he was great. Once I settled on a beer our food order was placed. They started... More

Been going here for almost 20 years. When you're in the need for German food this is the place to go.

As a family we were eager for German/Austrian food, but needed to take it home. The selection here is excellent and the quality is good, although the potato pancakes were thick and rather tasteless. We enjoyed several types of wurst, sauerkraut, and very, very delicious hot potato salad. We were quite surprised that there was a $1 surcharge with each... More

I grew up around the Amana Colonies when the restaurants were still owned by the original owners/managers so am used to mostly German food with a little American change. We went here for dinner with my daughter and son-in-law. I had the sauerbratten and it was just as good as what I had 30 years ago in Amana, IA. The... More

Fun atmosphere, good music, excellent food. They have real German beers and wines. My very favorite dish is Schweinehaxen - best I've had in the USA. My husband loves the Weiner Schnitzel. Never have had anything that didn't taste authentic and delicious!

The shoulder to shoulder crowd really dampens the meals. The live band is great. Food is as authentic as you get in N. Texas.

The atmosphere was homey perhaps a little close, but the food more than made up for it. Simply Delicious!!

As my wife travels to the Dallas are for business she has visited this restaurant many times. When I had the chance to join her last week she brought me here. I was not disappointed. There is a wide variety to choose from on the menu. The Staff and service was good as was the entertainment. A manager stopped by... More
