This VERY casual eatery is all about good seafood. Great catfish, shrimp cocktail and cocoanut shrimp. Don't miss the hush puppies!

Great food, service and portions. Well priced!! Loved the onion rings and gumbo soup the most. The grilled trout was a little fishy but the salmon salad was great with a very nice sized portion of salmon. Will return for sure!! I want to go back and try the fish and chips!

Love this one! Fried oysters for me. Or the awesome ceviche. Perhaps the fish tacos. Oyster poboy... Love them all. Hubby always gets the fried catfish (even tho he reads the menu like he is considering something else). Fries, coleslaw, brews... Half and half sweet tea. Never disappoints.

It's busy with lines even at 9pm-that tells you something about the food. They handle it quite efficiently. I had the catfish, onion rings and fried pickles-all quite good. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked tasty and there's quite a variety of seafood.

There are many fish restaurants in Dallas area that serve fried/grilled fish, shrimps, scallops, and oysters. But I come here for their hot and spicy seafood soup. For about $8, you get a big bowl of tasty soup (clear broth), chunks of catfish, big shrimps, corn, cabbage, and potatoes. The place has charm, just like its name, a local fish... More

We eat here often. The food and drinks are always good and the atmosphere is super casual. Great for a relaxing dinner.

This place has the closest seafood taste from my hometown of New Orleans that I have tasted. I love it that u can make your own cocktail sauce. The price is reasonable and we go as often as possible. I

This is a small hole in the wall (former Long John Silvers building) that is always busy. It is busy because the seafood is really good. If you like seafood, you have to try it

Such a great place! It is always packed because the food is incredible! The fish is so fresh and wonderful. The fried items are not greasy, very light and cooked to perfection! The food is such a great value for what you get.

I think this place used to be a Long John Silvers or something like that, so maybe I just assumed it was a cheap imitation of a real restaurant. Boy, was I wrong. My wife and I went to the Fish Shack for lunch and while the parking lot looked pretty empty, the place was full and we had to... More
