Took a chance on this restaurant based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. The pizza is great! Traditional cheese and sausage. Very tasty. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth looking into.

Neighborhood Italian at its best; Ari and his wife make each patron feel like family! Got my fav again... Chicken Murphy and my wife got Chicken Picatta. So much great food, we have lunch for Sunday! Thank you Bella Italia for opening in Plano; we'll...help you guys get through COVID-19 restrictions! 👍🇺🇸More

This family-run restaurant has wonderful service and even better food. I try to support them by getting take out once a week. We have tried several of the pasta dishes and many pizzas. It is traditional Italian fare....simple, but so well executed. The byob is...great, but they also have Wine Down Wednesday prices for wine. The employees continue to offer the best service in spite of COVID.More

I come here weekly for a large pizza with extra cheese. Their pizza is the best in Plano! Absolutely delicious! Once you try it you'll be hooked.

Great family owned and operated Italian restaurant. Meals come with a side salad and fresh home made rolls.

My wife and I had dinner at Bella Italia for the second time last night. For a neighborhood restaurant it was simply fantastic -- again! My wife and brought our own wine (you gotta love BYOB), the waiter promptly greeted us, and then he got...us a couple of wine glasses. I ordered the Tortellini Carbonara. My wife asked the waiter if the chef could make a custom veal dish she had once before at another restaurant. Our waiter checked quickly with the owner who promptly replied "Yes, we can do that!". And they did! Both entrees were outstanding. The service could not have been better and their prices are quite reasonable. Ari, the owner (see picture with my wife), personally visits with every table during the evening and often walks customers to the door on their way out. How nice. They were very attentive to us, but we never felt rushed. If you have not been to Bella Italia, you are missing out!More

I have eaten here several times. It's a very popular neighborhood restaurant, owned by a young couple, not a corporation. You may have to wait 20 minutes for a table on a Saturday night, but when the restaurant is busy, you will find the owner...(Ari) busing tables himself, in an effort to get everyone seated as quickly as possible. The service is excellent, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. The owner usually visits each table to say "Welcome" and "Thank you for coming". Customer satisfaction is very important to him and you can really tell how how much he cares about his restaurant and his patrons. Most of the locals are repeat customers. One of the things I really love about this place is that his liquor license allows you to BYOB, but he also has a full bar. I prefer to bring my own bottle of wine, but it's not always convenient to do that, so the full bar is great at times. It's nice to have options! I highly recommend this restaurant!More

2nd visit and it was as nice as the first. Excellent food, with a wonderful neighborhood feel, quiet ambience and charmingly modern for a small space. Nothing but good things to say about this nice litttle piece of Italy in Plano. Much better than the...chain restaurants!More

Even though they do have a beer and wine license, you may take your own bottle of wine. The corkage is $5 per bottle. I confirmed that by telephone today.
