We were traveling, and discovered this gem, almost like a museum. The food was good, and service was great. Definitely recommend it, a unique place, worth visiting.

They serve great ordinary food at decent prices. I have eaten here for years and always enjoyed it. They do allow smoking however there is a non smoking room. I hate cigarettes but I cant smell them exept briefly when you enter. The restaurant is...very clean and feels like you stepped into 1950. Try it out it is good and cheap!More

It was delicious! Think old style diner food! We had sausage, egg, pancakes, omelette, hashbrowns, and the kids ate chicken tenders. The service was great! The waitress was very attentive and very polite. Don’t let the looks of the outside deceive you. The building isn’t...pretty but the food was amazing. If you are sensitive to smoke this may not be the place for you. There’s a smoking room and a non smoking room. When you walk in you’ll briefly go through a smelly smoking area. It didn’t bother me one bit and once we sat in the non smoking section I couldn’t smell it at all. But some people are much more sensitive than me. My son couldn’t hardly stand it. We would definitely visit here again!More

I may be a little biased, I have been drinking coffee here for over 50 years. Have gone through several owners but all have been thoughtful people. The current owners are just good people. Stop by for their lunch they have a different special every...day. If you are in there 5 to 6 am I will probably see you.More

So many people these days are complaining about smokers. I agree that it is a terrible habit. I smoke and don't care if I can or not in a restaurant! These people try to please both sides of the matter! The food is great and...the atmosphere is great!!!!More

Ok I have eaten here many times. The food is inexpensive, the food is very good and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The biggest negative is it is a haven for smokers. They have a non-smoking room (where I sit) and I don't smell the...smokers in there. Everything is clean even though the restaurant is a little dated. They do except credit cards. The biggest criticism I have is the coffee isn't very good.More

We gathered with college friends at the Nu Griddle during homecoming. We used to frequent the place in the 1950's. Took us right back to those days. Good food at reasonable prices. Good service.

Came this morning for breakfast heard it was really good its been around a while so decided to check it out. It is okay not all that but it for sure beats IHOP. Smoking and non smoking section but still STINKS.
