A life long quest to find that one true GREAT enchilada. La Fiesta wasn't quite it but it was close. The service was very friendly and fast. The sauces are more like West Texas or New Mexico than Central or South Texas. It's my personal preference. I will return to LaFiesta when traveling through Pecos.

Don't waste your time here, they are extremely slow, the service is bad, and food is mediocre. I guess if you are not a local they don't much attention to you, waited 40 minutes for the food, food wasn't what was stated on the menu, waitress didn't seem to care. Waitress wasn't seen but three time while we waited, took... More

Good solid Mexican lunch. Not fancy, and as many of the reviews suggest, service is indeed slow. I had fajita salad...fresh chopped jalapeño gave it some bite, which I enjoyed. Seems popular with locals.

Just passing through Pecos and asked the front desk clerk at the hotel for a recommendation - and this was it. My husband and I love Mexican food and usually find the "hole in the wall" places to be the better place to go. Not quite so with this place. We were hungry, we didn't know anything about Pecos, so... More

My son and I stopped for lunch on the way to Carlsbad Caverns. I had some delicious enchiladas. He had a quesadilla. The horchata was also very good.

This was a restaurant with tasty food. Our waitress was very helpful, friendly, etc. Everything just took a long time. The food was good. I had the flauta special (4 flautas + sides). It was a little greasy. Everyone else in my party LOVED their food. I could tell that everything was homemade and it really was very good, but... More

Not fancy and service is a little slow (because they are busy!) but food was very good. If you have to stay in Pecos, it sure beats The fast food chains.

We love eating here. Hot enchilada sauces - green is our favorite. But there's nothing like red enchiladas with a fried egg on top.

I am big authentic Mexican food fan. In my previous trip to Texas (San Anton.), I had some my best Mexican meals. I was hoping to reproduce this experience in my travel through Western Texas. After some disappointment, this restaurant save the day. I am faithful TA followers, but I am glade I did not check TA on Pecos restaurants.... More

This Pecos native hasn't been to a Pecos restaurant in years. The folks at the hotel recommended La Fiesta. It's not pretentious. This is Pecos, folks! Small town in west Texas. My wife and daughter were with me and we all ordered the Mexican plate (a sampler with taco, relleno & enchilada), served with rice and refried beans. The customary... More
