This is a favorite of individuals in Palestine and the surrounding community. It is truly a tex-mex restaurant and reminds me of the old Monterrey House chain. Food is consistent and service is very good. We will be returning.

Great, quick lunch, very reasonably priced. Always hot, food consistent. Had Carol for our waitress. She was great. No issues, everything perfect. Best chicken quesadillas you’ll ever eat. Tacos are great, too. Stuffed with meat and veggies.

This place is an icon in Palestine. Remember when it was owned by one of my best friends' grandparents and started coming in the 70s. The taste is still the same, over 40 later. Their loaded nachos and sour cream beef enchiladas are worth the...More

My husband & I tried this restaurant upon arriving in Palestine & am pleased to say we have been so satisfied we have gone back many times. The food selection is great. I think they’re just a tad on the expensive side but the taste...More

Let me start off by saying that if you are looking for traditional Mexican fare, then you won’t like this place. It never has been, nor will it ever be that. This is strictly Tex-Mex, and there is a difference. I have been a regular...More

Stopped to eat here on the way to the Polar Express. It was just ok...nothing exceptional but also nothing terrible. I was disappointed that they don't have a liquor license and therefore, NO margaritas. It was a shock, I assumed all Mexican restaurants serve margaritas,...More

The food is good, I love the free hot sauce and chips...hard to not fill up on it. The prices are reasonable. The waitresses have always been pleasant. I would highly recommend. Great place for date night or family night.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean. I didn’t care for their Spanish rice. It seemed bit undercooked, but my friend felt it was cooked just right. Hot sauce was too hot for me. I did leave full so all in all it was about average.

We thoroughly love this as our favorite Mexican place. Food alwats fresh and hot, chips fresh and warm, salsa very good. Reviews we heard from years past did not overrate this place. Still great!
