Are family loves this place for the brisket, chicken, sausage and that's just the meats. The sides are delicious, from cream corn( great flavor), beans( seems they have mixed in meat juice or somthing?? really good), little red potatoes w/ butter( awesome). Not to mention sometimes they have other entrees that the other restaurant don't like the green chili stew.... More

We tried our own combo of spicy chopped meat, baby back ribs, and a jalapeño sausage with a side of creamed corn. The chopped meat was tasty all on it's own, the ribs perfectly cooked and complimented wonderfully with Rudy's spicier sauce (we didn't try the "sissy" sauce) We were hoping for a higher level of spice on the sausage... While on our most recent road trip, we were getting hungry and were determined to find a great bbq restaurant in Texas. After reading many reviews, we selected Rudy's. Having never been there before, we walked in and were reviewing the walk-up service menu. We were having a hard time making a decision and were given free samples of brisket... More

Ate at Rudy's with family while bluebonnet hunting in the hill country. Great brisket and very good flavor and the sirloin was excellent. The corn on the cob was very juicy and excellent flavor on the beans. Would go back again if I'm every on the area.

If it hadn't been for the reviews I would not have gone in and gotten dinner. I walked in, wasn't sure what to get they gave me a sample of three different meats. The food was cooked very well. The cream corn was on point. Will go back again.

I stopped in with some colleagues last week. Two of them had never tried Rudy's and one had never had Texas BBQ. We ordered a variety of brisket, sausage and ribs. Also had baked potato, potato salad, beans, corn on the cob, slaw, and peach cobbler. Our two newbs really liked the flavor and gave a thumbs up. Can't go... More

Pat's Place was packed, so came here instead. So glad it worked out that way! The brisket was excellent, sliced and chopped. Much better than the Selma location. Potato salad was a little bland, but my husband loved the creamed corn.

First visit here and my wife and I enjoyed it. I had the brisket and Sausage. The brisket was melt in my mouth tender and excellent flavor. The sausage was also good. My wife enjoyed her Pulled pork sandwich. We also had chips and drinks for 19 dollars. Well worth it. My one suggestion is I didn't particularly like the... More
