It is well worth going around the block for, tho. An older building that is very tastefully decorated serving German food that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had Schnitzel and potato dumplings, new experiences for us. We will enjoy it again.

We are lunch at the Alpine Haus on a stormy, rainy day with friends from Montana who had a yen for German food. It was a great experience for all of us. The food was expertly prepared and extremely tasty. We will go back again.

We visited here with another couple who love German food. The service was excellent and the table settings were nice and upscale. The food was very good. I know nothing about German food, but I had the Rolladen and really enjoyed it.

Check out the antiques and decor, order from the pils- and helles-rich beer menu, and try the spaetzle, schnitzel, etc... wunderbar. Been a while since you've had...More

It is a bit pricier than your average restaurant about town - but totally worth it. Especially on the evenings when there is traditional music being played.
