New Braunfels Coffee provides a European Style Café atmosphere located in the heart of the downtown historic district on Main Plaza. The café is in a free standing 1925 historic building with ambiance and character. Come in - relax and enjoy the view of Main Plaza through our large café windows while having one of our special coffee beverages, including lattes and cappuccino featuring Texas Artisan Roasters Coffee locally roasted, fair trade & organic.

Perfect coffee shop - delicious kolaches!

Great coffee shop with lots of charm and great kolaches! We visited while on vacation. The first day we received our coffee but our food was forgotten. When I brought it to the barista's attention she apologized over and over and offered us a free cookie. Came back the next day because the coffee and food was so good!

Hidden gem! Coffee, sandwiches, homemade cookies!

Stopped in on a whim expecting only coffee. Discovered a wonderful selection of homemade, in house, cookies and pastries. We tried the coconut macaroons, chocolate chip cookies, and raspberry thumbprints. They were all outstanding. These are not store-bought cookies. 100% real, homemade quality. We also decided to try a few sandwiches off their lunch menu. Caesar wrap, Monte Cristo, and Italian wrap. Freshly made, superior sandwiches. Far exceeded expectations from a coffee shop. Cappuccino, iced latte, and house coffee all excellent as well. This place sure is a hidden gem and perfect lunch spot amidst all the crowded restaurants in the downtown area. Staff was friendly and capable, service was quick. They are remodeling the inside of the shop but it did not affect our experience at all. Absolutely will return.

Went for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Had the croissant ham, egg and cheese and raspberry Danish. Food was very good, priced well. Service was good and place was very comfortable. Carpet under sofa seating area needs to be replaced or cleaned. All in all not a bad place to visit.

Good Coffee / Poor Service

Lone barrista was overwhelmed. Had to wait 30 minutes for 1 of the 3 drinks we ordered so food that was brought to the table went cold for one of our party members. Simply asking for a name to tag the order would have eliminated the free for all when drinks were laid out of the counter. Coffee drinks were good and the one breakfast sandwich eaten hot was well received.

Terrific omelette and cafe au lair

My husband had the oatmeal and said it was delish. I had a yummy spinach and bacon omelette. As a Louisiana coffee aficionado, I can rate the cafe au lait as superb!

Needed Coffee...

Nice shop on the square in New Braunfels. Went there for a cup of drip coffee and was a little shocked to find out a 16 oz cup is $3.25. Good coffee but took a while for the shovk to wear off.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners. They are super nice and accommodating. The coffee/tea is good and the atmosphere is amazing. It's right in the heart of downtown NB!

Stopped in while traveling from San Antonio to Austin. Located off the circle in the old part of town, we had tasty ham, egg & cheddar and bacon, egg & cheddar sandwiches with a latte and hot tea. Friendly staff, and obviously have repeat local customers.

Fun Road Trip with Friends

During our road trip to New Braunfels, we ate breakfast here at New Braunfels Coffee. Food was excellent!! Staff were very nice!! Plenty of seating to visit with friends. Prices were nice. Easy to find with lots of parking on a Sunday morning.
