We really enjoyed our dinner here. The salmon and polenta was amazing. Great atmosphere, fairly quiet.

We had dinner with our family, including small children at the Gruene Door. Weather being perfect, we chose to sit outdoors, next to a small fountain and under the shade of several trees. Service was attentive and prompt. Bar service was good and the food...More
Although the food is good and the atmosphere here is charming, it is absolutely abmissmally loud in this place. That ruined it for us, as one cannot even carry on a conversation over dinner. Also overpriced. Our advise: Do Not Go Here!
Tip: Make sure you make reservations! After several lackluster lunches at the Gruene Door we finally tried them out for dinner and wow. They did not disappoint. Everything was incredible! We had the bruschetta for an app. My husband and I split the dinner special:...More

Went tobtgis restaurant with another couple and had an excellent meal with great service, good wine selection, and very relaxed environment. The lamb was cooked to perfection and everything was done well. Will definitely go again if we anywhere close!
This is a wonderful surprise in the Gruene/New Braunfels area! The ambience equals that of any metropolitan area. The food and service are superb! We travel the world & can’t wait to come back here!
Enjoyed dinner here without any reservations. We arrived early enough that reservations weren’t needed: around 5:30 pm. The food and ambiance were excellent, however the ceasar salad wasn’t impressive. But the chicken piccata was delish!
