Both times we stopped in on our way from Seguin back to Houston. A little off the beaten path but WELL worth the drive! And the history of the towns around it and the building it is in are amazing! Highly recommend for family, friends and functions. Great service! Outstanding food! Historic atmosphere. :) will be back!

This place was recommended to us by a local and it was well worth the short drive. The food was delicious and our service was great. Try the bacon wrapped shrimp!

Had a hankering for steak and had to try Kloesel's for a Saturday night meal. Had the one and only Angry Orchard beer in stock. Saturday's must be their slow night or they didn't think they could sell a whole six pack this week. Either way they still advertise it after the stock is depleted All in all it was... More

This is a great place to eat if your in the area. Lots of good item on the menu but you really need to try the steaks. Great selection of wines and beer. Nice bar area.

As a former resident of Moulton, the wife and I decided to take a three and a half hour road trip back just to eat here. It's just that good! The prime rib is phenomenal! No other way to describe it. Juicy and prepared as if gourmet style. You won't go wrong on this selection. I can't remember what steak... More

This is a great dinner spot in this part of Texas. We had the prime rib and rib eye and they tasted great and were cooked perfectly! Service with a great texas smile! And there is also a bar snapped on the side. The site has a nice historical marker describing the importance of the location to read.

My husband and I met up with a friend from San Antonio for some "Day Trippin' to Shiner to Tour the Spoetzl Brewery. Having a little time to kill, we turned in at Moulton and ended eating lunch. The atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting. I loved just looking around at the old building and architecture The men ate seafood... More

The meal you get is VERY fulfilling! My meal started with the most delicious Minestrone Soup with garlic bread followed by a delicious salad. After the salad, the steak came and OH MY GOODNESS was it the most perfect steak (it was a 8 ounce steak)!! It was so tender, I could almost cut it with a fork. It was... More

We stopped here on our return from San Antonio. I love Prime Rib and I would rate this as one of the best I have eaten. No need for a steak knife. The meat is so tender I cut it with a butter knife. A 12 oz. was $26.00. My wife and sister in law had a hamburger (6 oz.)... More
