We visited Tony’s for the first time. We all ordered something different, from a salad to a variety of wraps and sandwiches. Overall everyone thought the food was good. I thought the ordering process was slow, but they appeared to be trying to break in...a new employee. The bread they use for the sandwiches is excellent! The meat and toppings were good. I thought my sandwich could have been heated longer. The prices seem pretty high to me compared to other similar delis. We would come back and I do recommend to give them a chance!More

This was so good, we got food from here twice during our 1 week stay. We ordered two sandwiches, the K Corleone and the Rocky Marciano and they were big enough for 4 adults for dinner. We had the bread toasted. The flavors were perfect...and although we thought we might try something else the second time, we stuck with the perfection we already had. Potato salad and Giardiniera were yummy also. We got take out both times and it traveled well. There is parking in back also.More

Came here for sandwiches last night, and ordered to dine in. No matter how you order, everything is put into 'to go' styrofoam containers. We waited quite some time for our sandwiches, with great anticipation. I love Rueben sandwiches, and have eaten them in many...cities, both in the United States and abroad, so I was excited to try this one, due to the good reviews here. My Rueben at Tony's was $14, and a complete waste of time and money. The sandwich was not hot, the bread not toasted, and within 3 bites, the bread was a soggy mess. I tried to separate the other half of the sandwich and put it on napkins, but soon, that was an even worse mess, and made my stomach turn. The meat was much like grocery store deli meat; no taste and no character. Corned beef is a Brisket, and has textured meat, with a small amount of fat that brings the sandwich big flavor. The meat here was overly pink, had no character or markings of real brisket. There was very little Russian dressing, and the cabbage was apparently not drained well, so it added to how wet the entire sandwich was. Two employees, a man and a woman, each called to us from a kitchen type window to ask "how everything was". Having been part of a retail family for over 75 years, it would have been Much nicer for them to come out to the dining area, and come to our table. There was only one other table occupied, and a few people doing takeout, and that gesture would have meant a lot more, if it was not 'called' to us, from 20 feet away. I felt nauseated by the wet bread and slimy meat on my sandwich, and Should have said something. But, after a long, hard day at work, I was just too tired to complain to people who could not make it to our table to inquire about our experience. The other sandwich we ordered was a build your own, and with one small bag of chips, and one small drink the total was $38, which was too expensive for the low quality. The second sandwich was on Italian style bread, which held up better, and did not get soggy. However, the turkey on that sandwich was the same, poor grocery store deli quality; shiny and salty. For the elevated price, food in a to go container for dine in, and half our meal an inedible waste, we have decided not to return to Tony's.More

Everything we have ordered from here is delicious and the service is great. The only issue is the parking but I know they don't like it either.

This is a truly hidden gem. Their sandwiches are the best I've ever had. All their ingredients are top notch and made to order. Try the Minelli (Reuben) on rye bread. One sandwich is two meals. Very clean and friendly staff.

Hubby and I have traveled around the US and we've tried Italian subs in hundreds of cities where they claim to have the best. So far, Tony's is our top pick. We are a family of Italian's and Tony's reminds me of the subs we...used to get in Little Italy in Boston. We love so many of the choices, it's hard to pick just one. Now that we settled in Conroe, we are close by and visit often. So far, everyone we send to Tony's has been impressed.More

I have ordered food from Tony's twice in the last few weeks, the sandwiches were great. However, as of this date, our county has experienced almost 20,000 cases of Covid-19 with many deaths and NOT one employee in Tony's was wearing a protective mask. On...my first visit, I thought it was because all the employees preparing the food, etc. were just young and their employer was perhaps unaware of their conduct. But, it was the very same story on my second visit. IMO, exposing restaurant customers and fellow employees to such a dangerous illness is unacceptable and unforgivable conduct!More

It's so hard to find a Sub that even competes with the North. Unfortunately, these subs did Not either. The T-Danza was over-toasted, too much mustard and not enough meat. The lucky Luciano was even worse, again over-toasted, very greasy as it had ground sausage...and not a patty. The bread is just the same as everywhere...The eclair was good but I've given up on Subs as this was my last hope.More

My son and I had to go to Conroe to pick up our boat and he had heard how good this place was. And omg. It is ridiculously great. The sandwiches could feed two and everything about them is fantastic. I had the Lucky Luciano...which is fresh sweet Italian sausage, roasted peppers, pepperoni, marinara and provolone which I subbed for fresh mozzarella. Toasted on a crusty Italian sub roll. Shut the door. It was amazing. My son had the Danny Devito. It is a classic Italian with the addition of marinara. Toasted bit was also amazing. If you are any where near this place it is worth the time. Loved it.More

Been hearing about this place for a while so we decided to stop and try it out. The wait was not to bad. The food was decent but the bun was a little too crisp for me. I will try it out again and see...how that goes.More

We only tried the Muffaletta so don't know about other sandwiches. This had very little similarity to New Orleans type. It was greasy and blah, even on French bread. I was so disappointed I won't try Tony's again. I will say you get your money's...worth on the amount of meat they pile on your sandwich - actually too much for me.More

THE BEST ITALIAN DELI IN TEXAS. We do not live close to Tony's, but if we will be in that area, we plan to stop and always order a Meatball to take home. Everything is Great. Even better is the people that work there. Stop...by, Stand in line, Wait a short time and enjoy. They do a great job, but they are always busy.More
