Awesome experience. I have lived about 40 miles away for years and this is my first time stopping in to get takeout plates for the family. Very fast and tasty. Great tartar, hush puppies, and the catfish was the best around. Definitely coming back!!

Love the food here!! Was disappointed in it when new owners took over, but the old ones are back!! A little out of the way, but worth it!!

The wife and I have been driving an hour and half to Oklahoma to get good Catfish, now we drive slightly less than an hour and stay in Texas. The regular seasoned catfish is WONDERFUL, be sure to ask for the fresh cut fries, beans are cooked and seasoned well, coleslaw was very good, be sure to leave room for... More

We were passing by on our way to Abilene and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor so we thought we would give it a try. So glad we did! The owner greeted us at the door & was very friendly. The waitstaff was wonderful & polite as well. The catfish was prepared perfectly. We also had the chicken fried steak,... More

This cafe may be a little out of the way but it is definitely worth it. Service is good, staff is pleasant and the catfish is delicious. They prepare the fish 3 different ways. The onion rings are wonderful. A little tomato relish is a nice touch. The pinto beans are flavorful. Hushpuppies are tasty and not greasy. A great... More

Yes this "WAS" the best catfish but it recently changed ownership and we stopped there 07-12-15 and the catfish was awful. We asked for extra crispy and it was not even done much less crispy. And on top of that there were brown fishy spots in the catfish which I pointed out the the waitress. We ordered pie and the... More

The only thing bad about the restaurant is that the dining area is too small and too close to the unisex restroom. But is you love catfish, this is the place. I like Memphis style. The Cajun doesn't soot my fancy. The service is terrific!

A busy little place in the country just off I-20. We both had catfish that was very good but not outstanding. Best part of the meal was the home made pie. Service was very fast and good.

Definitely not a classy restaurant but a wonderful diner serving southern food, soul food. A great variety, from fried frogs legs, catfish and burgers to chicken fried steak. I had catfish and fried green tomatoes. Great service and friendly staff. A wonderful experience. It was very busy and a lot of people there for Sunday lunch, a lot of people... More
