Our 8 member group normally eats at Carino's once a week. First of all, the lights are turned down in the evening so low that you can't read the menu. The last several times we ate there our food was way below expectations. The past two times we were there, there was foreign plastic objects in our salad. Our server... More

We eat here once or twice a month, usually at lunch but sometimes dinner. They generally get the food out quickly and get it right the first time. Lasagna and Skillatini are 2 of my favorites. Try an Italian Margarita, really a good drink with dinner. Great fresh bread when you sit down. Everything Ive had here is good, and... More

We just had main courses and couple of beers. Nice bread as a side order. Price reasonable. Not too busy but was mid week. A number of families in.

We had an extremely disappointing experience in the midland restaurant. We arrived at approximately at 1pm it was 2:49 when I left. The service was extremely poor. There were very few people in the restaurant. I was charged 16.79 for angel hair pasta, shrimp, and Alfredo sauce rather than the 10.99 for the advertised create your own pasta. The waiter... More

Me and my wife went inside for dinner. It was around 5:45-6pm. There were only 3 tables with customers sitting down, other than that the place was not busy. We were told it would be 30-45 minute wait because they only had 3 waitstaff on. Really?

Every Monday nite, they don't really advertise, but will honor, any Family sized meal at half price. We love their Lasagna and Skilletini and you get 3 salads or soups and bread for less than $20! ...fantastic!!!!

This one is a gem. I had the Chicken Marsala. It comes with pasta or spinach. I chose the spinach. 'both were absolutely perfect for fair price. My food at Johnny Carrinos was a few steps up from the Olive Garden and less formal than my favorite place in San Antonio, Great chef. Great service. Staff seems to work together.... More

Went with five other people for supper, so we ended up with a variety of meals. We did try the calamari as an appetizer, it was nice breaded, had a good mild sauce, and did its purpose of acting as a starter. The bread with olive oil also is a nice touch, especially since the bread was warm when served.... More

it's different than olive garden but good. Go on Monday night and get a family platter for half off. It willfeed2 to 4 and is the same price as a single meal, but you have to ask for a half off mamily platter.

Everything was just ok. Nothing really stood out, good or bad. It was edible if you're interested in eating out on autopilot. Think, a step above fast food Italian.
