We went to this restaurant on our visit to Tenerife last year and I felt it overpriced and overrated. We decided to visit again on our visit to the island this year and we all came away with a very different experience.
I had the spare ribs to start which were excellent and followed this with the crispy duck with vegetables and cashew nuts. The other mains we ordered were all very good. The service was excellent with the waiter very attentive throughout. Our night was topped off in spectacular fashion with a visiting magician to our table demonstrating his skills.
I think we paid about €85 for two starters, three mains and a couple of soft drinks and whilst this is our most expensive meal out since we arrived is was very much worth it and I'd highly recommend.

We have visited this restaurant on previous holidays and been delighted with the food but unfortunately this time it was disappointing. It seemed to lack the delicacy and finesse we had previously. We were seated indoors and there was a continuous stream of waiting staff passing back and forth carting food or dirty dishes which meant it wasn't a relaxing atmosphere. Much better outdide

Have been to Thai Botanico 6 times this past four weeks and have never been disappointed. The food flows with flavour and is very tasty. They have a wide and varied menu to suit all tastes and there are some lovely starters (satay beef of the mixed satay - Vegetable, prawn, chicken and steak). Although it’s a Thai restaurant you can get steak.
The price varies obviously for what you get but reasonably priced.
The staff are ALL so friendly and welcoming and always have a smile for you whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular. Two staff I must recommend are Anaila who serves inside and Emma who serves outside.
A must visit.

The venue is really nice at the top of the safari centre, the food was really good- on par with the best thai food i have tasted, but the service let it down.
After booking a table weeks in advance we were told once we walked in we could only have the table for 90 minutes. This was ok for us but may not suit other families who like 3 courses and to sit afterwards.
Service was slow but to be fair the staff were nice. Our waiter actually called for someone to go check on where our food was because it was taking so long.

We stayed in Tenerife for a week in December. Botanico was recommended to us by a couple we met who had been there before, we were not disappointed.
We shared a stir fry and a lamb Mossamon curry with rice, there were absolutely amazing.
Our waiter Adrian was really professional, helpful and informative
If you like Thai food then you really must go here, you will not be disappointed

We visited Thai Botanico on Jan 9th 2020 but restaurant was fully booked booked so we reserved a table for the following evening with the very efficient and lovely girl from Estonia and we were not disappointed. Apologies didn’t get her name! The front of house staff could not do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The meal was absolutely wonderful and well worth waiting for! Josse looked after our every need during the meal and provided great advice on the locality and on the Island. A great ambassador for Thai Botanico and for Tenerife in general.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic evening here as part of my 60th birthday celebrations while on holiday in January 2020. The food was excellent, all 10 of our party choosing a variety of starters and mains, with 100% satisfaction from all of us. The ambience is very relaxed and pleasant with the staff giving excellent service while not being over attentive. The whole restaurant was spotlessly clean, including the toilets. No-one was left waiting for their food and drinks were served and topped up seamlessly. I can't recommend highly enough for a visit as a couple, or a group and we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Tenerife. Really well run establishment by a fellow Liverpudlian, as the owner introduced himself as we were leaving when he heard us talking and asked us if we had enjoyed our meal.

Was there in Dec 19 for the first time after our son recommended this restaurant.
I thought he was exaggerating how good the food was & the staff, I have to say the recommendation went well above what I thought it was going to be like. The food was so tasty could taste all the flavourings of spices OMG amazing. Emma from Scotland was our waitress she was fantastic & very good at recommending what dish you would like when you e planned your taste 👌 we are back to Tenerife tomorrow to celebrate my sons 40th & the 8 of us plan to book a table to celebrate.

We have visited this restaurant many times in the past and it didn’t fail to impress us once again this year. Unfortunately because we hadn’t booked, we had to sit inside but that didn’t bother us as it was cool enough inside the restaurant. The waiters were lovely and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
The quality of the food is still as good as ever and we order the four pieces of satay chicken to share and it came with peanut sauce and some salad - delicious, and it was a nice amount to share as a starter. We also had prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce as an appetiser. For main I got the ‘Botanico Pad Thai’ and it was amazing. It was essentially pad thai but with chicken and large king prawns wrapped in an omelette basket. The portion was huge and then meal was faultless. My partner had the red peanut curry with egg fried rice, which was also very tasty, a little spicy, but still delicious. We also had two beers and two glasses of Diet Coke and altogether we paid 54€ which I don’t think is bad at all considering the high quality food and service.
I will definitely be revisiting this restaurant next time I come to Tenerife and I would 100% recommend a visit!

Location is great and it is a big restaurant.
The staff was very friendly.
I believe the price is a bit expensive especially the vegetable spring rolls -6 euros for 2 little pieces was too much and that was a bit disappointing...
Plus needed to pay 2.something € as a tax that I did not understand what tax was that... so a bill of 39 went to 42€...

Without a doubt this is consistently the best restaurant in Tenerife
My wife & I have had the joy to eat here many many times over a good numbers years & we have never been disappointed in any aspect of this great restaurant.
During that time, the menu has continually evolved & had a few minor tweaks & innovations, but the food and service here is always amazing.
If you’re seeking great Thai food, served up in a casually elegant surroundings by really friendly staff, this is definitely the best place to head to for a truly special night out.

Every time I’m in Tenerife I make a point of going here for dinner always get a good seat(asked if I prefer inside or outside) the service is excellent and kept spotless clean and the staff working there are very professional at what they do especially the waiter we had(Emma from Scotland) pleasant,polite, couldn’t do enough for us. The food here is good here especially they sea salted chicken wing and barbecue spare ribs. Can’t wait to next year to visit again.

Went to the Thai Botanico on a recommendation and my family and I were not disappointed. The food was amazing however what made it more special was the service. Our server was Adrian who was an absolute star, made our night with his attention to detail in serving us and going through the menu. Food was served on time and the presentation was outstanding. 5 of us were staying up at the Hard Rock Hotel all inclusive for a week, however knew we wanted a special meal out to celebrate my 30th and my dads 60th. I had prebooked and let them know it was a birthday celebration.
The curfew and new rules came into force the day we flew out to Tenerife which meant that all 5 of us wouldn’t be able to sit at the same table. However they were extremely accommodating and made sure we could sit at tables right next to each other. They made a fuss of us and decorated the table and even brought us some sorbet with big sparklers and sang us happy birthday.
The food was absolutely amazing as always (it never disappoints) and it was so good to see the place busy as Playa de las Americas is extremely quiet due to COVID.
HIGHLY recommend - the staff are attentive, friendly and made a lovely place and meal even better!
Look out for a Scottish waitress called Emma...lovely girl and she particularly looked after us all night.
Can’t wait to get back to my favourite island and visit my favourite Thai restaurant!! Thank you for making it a memorable evening.

This place never fails to amaze us. We adore the food here and make sure we visit a couple of times a year. The staff are wonderful and extremely attentive. This is the best place to eat in Tenerife - hands down. I’ve struggled to find Thai food like it anywhere else. This place is also very well priced, the produce is super fresh and of great quality. I’ve paid more for food of poor quality elsewhere in Tenerife and felt underwhelmed. This place fills you to the point of injury as the food is just too delicious to leave even when your bursting at the seams.
We visited last night with our two children (2)&(4) and they gave us a well thought out children's menu (not just your typical fish fingers and beans) along with plastic plates, cutlery and cups. I have to say, the chicken nuggets are some of the best I’ve ever had.
Whilst we visited last night (08/09) we had a great experience with David the magician who kept our little ones so well entertained during the short wait for our food. He is a wonderful addition to the team and his magic really is quite fascinating. For us, he made our night super special and added the WOW factor to our evening. So much so, he has been the subject of conversation for our little ones for the majority of the day. We cannot wait to come back on Saturday night to see “the magic man”
Overall, I cannot recommend this place more - this is a MUST when in Tenerife, just be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment as it’s very very popular. 10/10
