WOW! We came to celebrate my birthday here. Upon arrival we were amazed by the fresh seafood smell and we were so excited as the previous night we ate somewhere which was terrible. We were served by a wonderful gentleman who gave us a great...table. Really classy menu & prices were right for the quality of food. Honestly, this is the best restaurant on the whole Gran Canaria island. Food was impeccable , the amount of selections there was we were spoilt for choice. No matter what you want they have it. From seafood, fish platters, meat and even fish fillets. We had a few seafood starters which were to die for, the main we shared a paella which I don’t think you can find anywhere else. All other restaurants shockingly couldn’t cook a perfect paella. Here however we will be dreaming about it all the way to the UK. The chef should be really proud of them self as we couldn’t fault any dish. The taste, the seasoning the perfection and attention to detail. PLEASE COME TO LONDON!! Thank you so much for your service guys we cannot fault you on anything. Congratulations , please be proud of yourselves we will be telling everyone about you! <3More

Still one of the best seafood places in town, good fresh ingredients, good service, the clams, octopus, garlic prawns were great, the sea-bass baked in salt superb. Good wine selection and ambiance. Will be back. Thank you Guillermo, Andy Garcia and team.

Selected this restaurant from trip advisor reviews as we love seafood and wanted fine dining. Clean modern airconditioned restaurant with attentive staff, however staff were rushing around and wearing earpieces which made service seem a bit mechanical. If my partner was writing this review he...would give it 5 stars, says his scallop starter was perfect and our mixed fish platter for 2 main was as expected. I however wasnt as impressed; I love octopus and the only dish on the menu was a starter of octopus Galacian style; this was tender boiled octopus but is served in oil with paprika and potatoes and I didnt enjoy it. I thought our mixed fish main for 2 (at 27 euros per person) was poor; there were 4 small half fillets of fish each, a large grilled tomato with sea vegetables and potatoes. Maybe their fish choices were just poor, I just found it very ordinary. Most wines were over 30 euros per bottle. Of the 3 smart restaurants we ate in during our holiday we both agreed this was the 3rd best, but was also the most expensive. Bit disappointed.More

A well lit, upmarket seafood restaurant. The food was great and the service attentive. Great wine. We had a lovely meal, it was mid-priced not as pricey as we had imagined when we read reviews and booked. We will return next trip!

Read some good reviews, so decided to go with my partner. Beautifully clean restaurant the staff were great. The food was really quite good. But almost fell over when he said that the lobster between the 2 of us was €190. Over all meal came...to 260 we both had a starter and a bottle of wine along with half a lobster each. We wouldn't go back, Purley on cost, we found other restaurants with better valve for money but the food was delicious.More

We were in Playa del Ingles for a brief holiday and had Rias Bajas recommended to us as the best place for seafood in Gran Canaria and the Trip Advisor reviews were very encouraging. We had a bad start when trying to get information on...some of the regional wines in as the range of French and Italian wines for very limited, we ended up with a half decent Rose fairly priced at c30 euros. To start I had the lobster soup which was of average quality and not seasoned and my partner had the garlic prawns which were okay. We were interested in having lobster but not at 150 euros, for a 1kg size I had a grilled sole which was very tasty but poorly presented with a handful of fried potatoes on the plate. My partner had the grilled baby squid starter as a main course which was tasteless and left barely touched. At no stage were we asked if our food was okay which it clearly was not and we were ignored by the staff at 1througout our meal. At 100 euros it was not very expensive but the presentation of the food and poor service means that we will never return.More

Delicious! We wanted a good quality fish restaurant and were not disappointed. Rías Bajas has an extensive menu (and has plenty of meat for those who don’t eat fish). Our selections were beautifully presented and prepared. The service was efficient and friendly. Best food that...we have had in Gran Canaria by far! Try it and you won’t be disappointed… we’ve already booked to go again.More

Been here several times, and have never been disappointed, best fish ever in town. Just the fish soup itself is amazing. Last visit was New Year’s Eve, a reduced and pricey menu card, but still worth it.

This was a Christmas day recommendation by another restaurant, and we're so glad we took it. Paella, fish, steak, exactly what everyone was looking for. The wine was also fantastic.

The atmosphere in th restaurant was classy but also very relaxed. The staff was very friendly and adept. And the food! We ate hake and seabass and both were delicious. Also I recommend trying the local white wine Caldera. Our dinner here was just lovely.

None, as far as I know but didn't really look as not needed, but I honestly cannot remember seeing any section or anything marked. However, if you ask I'm sure they will do anything you need. Vera
