This place was recommended to us by the locals and indeed the fish served in Rias Bajas is fresh and well prepared. The side order of cooked vegetables was unfortunately not so great, over-salted and seemed to be warmed up. Presentation of food is very good and appetising and the service is very attentive. The venue itself is a bit... More

We always visit this restaurant when we are on the island, and we really can recommend it, specially the fish soup - so also perfect for lunch

We went here on a whim and weren't disappointed. Rias Bajas seems a little more sophisticated than most restaurants in Playa del Ingles and this shows in the slightly more expensive menu. The waiting staff are very attentive and on hand to assist with explanations of what certain dishes were, the menu translation was always clear, and with recommendation with... More

We initially went along to another restaurant and due to it being fully overbooked (Wapa Tapa) the owner of Wapa tapa recommended Rias Bajas to us and we went here to be surprised with how nice the fish was. It is relatively expensive in comparison with surrounding restaurants but I enjoyed the meals due to my love of fish and... More

Decided to visit this after being recommended by other at apartment. Decided on lobster, not realizing it was based on price per 100g Eating solo glad it wasn't too big, not cheap though.

Tacky 80's interior. The food is really overpriced and tasteless. When we had paid our (very large) bill the staff changed like Jekyll and Hyde, they shoved us out and then they refused to book us a taxi and treated us very bad (we had two small children and the taxis outside wouldn't take us because we were one person... We had dinner here this evening, very clean and nice decoration, good menu and wine card, but expensive, it is a high class restaurant at high prices. We were somewhat disappointed by the fishplatter, it was not fresh fish. We have been the only customers there from 8-8.45pm ! The service was good. For a starter shared, fishplatter, desert and... Upon the recommendation of one of the managers at our hotel (Parque Tropical), we went to Rias Bajas for a fish meal. We were not disappointed. A really nice place, food cooked to perfection. 5 star service by friendly and competent staff. A meal accompanied by good wine and rounded off with a limoncello shot. I had a Crema Catalana... This is the best restaurant in the Yumbo area with style and amazing sea food! On each stay I go there at least 3 times and have never been disappointed. Delicious fish (try the merluza with safran)and paella which usually follow an amazing pulpo a la gallega (the best I ever eat in Spain).. But my favourite dish is the... More

Had the chance to go again after about 16 months or so. It used to be my favorite seafood place. It was almost always good over the years. It did not disappoint this time. Always good percebes and camarones this time no exception. Excellent pata negra ham and good steamed berberechos. The sea bass baked in salt is as good... More
