Owner Ramon very friendly. This is a Tapas restaurant and had the 25 euro for two people , chosen by Ramon. Very good. The pork cheeks were wonderful so tender, cheese with honey delicious , ham croquettes , calamari, dates with bacon, black pudding ( blood sausage) awesome. We also ordered a dessert to share it was heavenly. Enjoyed it... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVORITE REVIEW
Reviewed March 4, 2017 via mobile

Having read good reviews on La Bodega, we arrived early (6.30pm) and managed to get a good table, especially as it's a rather small intimate place. We were offered a tapas selection for 3 persons - it consisted of stuffed peppers, real Canadian potatoes, piped mushrooms, chorizo (tiny sausages but local) dates wrapped in smoky bacon, garlic prawns, cheeses etc.,... The host with the most - Ramon is a personality and it shines through with how interactive he is with his diners. We had a great selection of tapas and enjoyed all of it. The meal was exceptionally reasonable, wine was great, and had we had another week, we would have eaten there again for sure. I loved the croquetas,... More

Nice place and nice service. We take the 13€ menu for try multiple tapas. We were expected at least some shrimps but only meat was served. Good place but a little bit disappointed. I was expected more for 32€ (we took 2 beer also).

Thank you for visitng La Bodega and taking the time to leave a review on Tripadvisor. Just to let know I get help with my replies in English is a bit broken. The menu you selected is a selection of 6 o 7 different tapas. The availability of the tapas depends on the products available as we only use freh... More

Found this on TripAdvisor and tried it, what a find, Tapas, we weren't sure what to order, and left ourselves in the capable hands of Ramon. The food kept coming, everything was cooked fresh, and tasted wonderful, you must try the sangria to wash it down, that was also amazing, then onto the Tapas desserts, wonderful. We would recommend this restaurant,... More

Returned 12 months after our first visit and found everything to be the same - excellent. Ramon was a great host who is passionate about his food and wine. Make sure you reserve a table as it is always busy.

Ate here twice within three days and both times were excellent. Prepare to be turned away without a reservation! I chose some tapas I knew I would like on my first visit and wasn't disappointed - Before our food was served I had reserved for us to return as a group (8 adults + 1 child). Ramon introduces himself and... More

We came here whilst on holiday due to its position on trip advisor. The menu is all tapas & we chose 5 between us. Chorizo was good, calamari - i've had better. I thought the jamon & cheese was expensive for what you got. Prawns were very good. Chicken was a little bit of a let down. I found the... More

My partner and I have visited here alone and with friends and like the location, food and selection of wine. However, the host comes across a little overbearing and last time told us a big story about our wine and the region/grape which clearly was not true, as we can read Spanish and what he said didn´t match the bottle........ I get help on my responses on Tripadvisor as my English is not that great. Thanks for taking to write on Tripadvisor.
