This place was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. My husband had a Bear Burger, yes you read right, a burger of bear meat. He really enjoyed it and the staff helped him pick which fillings went well with it. We also had Loin of venison, grilled chicken and I had a smashed patty beef burger which was a special, was absolutely delish and only €10. We will 100% be returning to this lovely hidden gem!!

This restaurant is located above Palm 5 and has outstanding views over the sea. A very friendly welcome and you’ll find one of the best sangria with blackberries, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. The grizzly fries were exceptional and the meat board was very good value for money. We also tried the smoked salmon salad and this was served in a tortilla, again really tasty. They also serve bear, elk, venison, chicken, beef and vegetarian burgers. Well worth a visit.

Yesterday I went to the Grizzly Bear Bistro in Benalmadena and it is highly recommended. From the moment I entered, they welcomed me with a warmth and kindness that make you feel at home. The service is simply fantastic, attentive and always willing to make your experience unforgettable.
The food is definitely great. I ate the bear burger. It is prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients. The best thing is that you can choose what ingredients you want with the burger. I love this concept, as you don't have to remove things you don't like... My God, it was so good!! Even potatoes and your dip taste better than anywhere else!
Something very funny about the Grizzly Bear Bistro is its theme. In every corner you can find a bear that adds a unique and welcoming touch to the atmosphere (even the hamburger stick had the head of a bear). These charming details perfectly complement the beautiful sea views, creating an ideal setting to enjoy a memorable meal.

Fancied trying somewhere a little different for lunch and after reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try. It’s situated on the second floor with a great view over the ocean. Staff met us with a smile showed us to a table. We decided to both try the just the jacket potatoes and as you can see from the photos we were not disappointed, they were made with love you could see that and certainly taste it. The staff were very attentive without being in your face and as soon as they saw an empty glass they came over to ask if we wanted another, they also have guest lagers & beers and I tried a lovey blonde lager. We found the prices very reasonable and on the menu were some lovely options, unfortunately it was our last day so was unable to try them out. The only annoying thing was the cafe next door with some very loud staff who felt the need to shout & sing every time they came out but I don’t think they open in the evening so evening meals would be peaceful.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for the variety and quality of the food on offer, prepared fresh by people that have a real pride and passion for their food.
We will definitely go back when we return.

They have the best Sangria in the area and price is great. Lots of fresh fruit.
The tapas are great especially the shrimp one with an amazing sauce .... so make sure you order bread to dip.
The double slider beef burger is so tasty with a very dark bread bun.
Service is fantastic. In our 3 week stay we went 3x for lunch.
Check their hours online before going.

Excellent menu. Beautiful location. Amazing service. Perfect cocktails.
Some hard decisions had to be made on the menu front as it all sounded so delicious. Really pleased with all our choices and everything looked so good on the plate and tasted even better! charcuterie and cheese board, Garlic gambas, breads, bear burger, grizzly fries all went down a treat and not a thing left on the plate. Followed by Berry Bear dessert by some of us which was just lovely. So much more we wanted to try so it’s a sure thing that we will absolutely return. A good cocktail menu too and we tried a few different ones between us and they were all lovely.
Dinner with a view? Absolutely! Easy to find and well located along the promenade with a lovely view of the sea.
All this was off with absolutely fabulous service. The server was friendly and attentive and we could not have asked for more.
10 out of 10 from me.
We will definitely return.

Whilst on holiday we visited Bistro Del Oso Grizzly as we fancied a ‘burger night’ and we weren’t disappointed. Probably the best burger meal I’ve had in a long time! The location could be a bit tricky to find but the views across the sea whilst eating our meal were fantastic. Staff were fantastic, friendly and welcoming. Family of 4 x adults eat - 3 of us chose the beef / mash burgers with a choice of fillings and sauces - fantastic! There are also options to choose venison, Elk or bear burgers and a variety of different fries. 1 of us chose the bear burger (big meat lover) and said his burger was fantastic and really tasty (a bit similar to venison and gamey he described it….we all had a nibble though and it was really good). A varied choice of drinks / cocktails also available at really competitive prices. This was a great find and we will definitely be going back again. Highly recommended, lovely location, friendly attentive staff, great food and drink, nice and clean place to eat. What more do you want. Give it a try 👍🏻

Absolute perfect as last time I was here. The service is great and the food is perfect. This time I enjoyed my dinner inside, it was a warm and wonderful experience that I fully recommend during the cold evenings. I will definitely be back.

The Sangria!!! It was incredible. The food with meat from a local hunting team and wine from a female local wine producer. Then you mustn't forget to taste the homemade ice cream. Almost too cheap prices but you can't complain about that 😊

A must visit place in Belanmadena for sure. The food and service are excellent and I can highly recommend the bear burger in a black broiche bun. House fries were amazing too, very different. Will certainly return.

Visited the Grizzly several times during our stay in Benalmadena in February and returned on each occasion with anticipation of what is probably the best jug of sangria in the area. The owner Lillet was always really friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to provide excellent service.
Great choice of menu for both food and drink and the meat/cheese board is definitely worth a try.
We will hopefully be returning to Benalmadena soon and a return visit to the Grizzly is definitely on the cards. Keep up the good work and thanks again to Lillet and all the staff.

Went here for a different kind of Christmas dinner and we weren’t disappointed. Fabulous Swedish food and so unusual for a change in Spain. If you’re looking for beautifully cooked and presented food with a fabulous view over the beach this is definitely worth a visit. Great service from Lily who was warm and welcoming. It was my birthday and they even made me a delicious raspberry cake.

Me and my husband went for the christmas dinner. It was absolutely beautiful, and the view is one of the best aswell.
Charcuterie board, Artichoke soup (which was out of this world), venison & herb potatoes & chantarelle sauce, i mean - does it get any better than that?
Rice pudding with the tastiest berry sauce _ever_ (my husband said it was the best dessert he’s ever had)
Everything was perfect, cooked beautifully and the food looked so pretty on our plates 🥰
The manager was lovely and i’m already looking forward to go back and try their standard menu.

We have eaten twice in this lovely little restaurant, perfect setting looking over the sea. The food is certainly different from anywhere else, everything freshly prepared with special attention to the detail.
Whether it’s tapas or venison everything was cooked to perfection and very enjoyable. The sangria is the best in the area, and has so much fresh fruit yum yum, even blueberries and blackberries. We shall definitely return as this is quality at a fair price….thanx Grizzly.

Surprising and amazing. Wonderful and welcoming waitress. Really fabulous sangria with soo much fresh berries. Then we tried the smash burger and bear burger. The smash was probably the best burger we hade here and the bear burger was truly a unique experience. We will definitely come back here next time we are here.
