This restaurant is off the beaten track down a little side street and doesn't share the harbour views that the other more touristy spots have. What it does have is excellent food ( seafood in particular). My wife and I shared a 'mixed barbecued fish' platter, which was similar in content to another nearby restaurant with a much higher rating.... More

This restaurant is popular and once you get your food in front of you, you'll understand why. The dishes are well made, the staff is very kind and helpful. Price is in the upper range if you compare it to the rest of the restaurants in Palau.

...to check the tip, we went there on a first day of our visit. Just have a look and make reservation. We were lucky to book the table on a street side, where you can catch some air and have a smoke. Nevertheless, shortly after eight all tables, even inside, were taken. Taken by families or small group of friends.... More

We have been going to La Taverna for 9 years now. Basically when we are in Palau and we want to eat fish that is the only place we choose to go as we know the fish will be fresh, good, prefectly cooked and service of quality. I would recommend to any who like to have a good fish or... More

Traditional Italian resturant down a side street near the Fonte Vecchia hotel. Excllent seafood and friendly service. Locals see to go there. Not cheap but well worth visiting.

Antipasto mista n grilled little lobster were well made but the price was way too expensive for what we ate.

We found this place in an alley, and it was very good! I had a simple pasta pomodoro and my husband had the steak. The food was delicious - just more expensive than the other food we found in Palau. I believe our meals together with a beer and a wine was about 50 euros.

Between my friend and I, we shared at least six varieties of seafood antipasti including octopus cooked in two different styles. We also had mussels and clams in tomato sauce and some shrium salad. Main course was a a baked fish in tomato and basil sauce. Every dish was prepared simply so we could taste the freshness of the seafood... More

I loved this restaurant! It's not the cheapest restaurant in Palau but was worth every penny. Excellent seafood, attentive but not instrusive service, lovely simple decor. Yummy limoncello and lemon sorbet after dinner, not to mention a delicious plate of authentic torrone and local petit fours with coffee. Heaven!
