Unfriendly, poor service-absolutely no one in the place but not allowed to sit at a table because we only wanted drinks ( which by the way were as expensive as food)

We love this restaurant just above arc 1600 and have been many times. Jacqui (?), the English owner, with her husband and team, always make us feel very welcome and the menu is always great and tasty. The cafe gourmand is just very special!

This is a step up from most of the mountain restaurants in Les Arcs. The food is of a higher standard. Plenty to choose from on the menu including boar stew. We enjoyed the Swiss Boule - bread hollowed out and filled with 3 cheeses...More

We stopped for lunch whilst skiing and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Great to see something different on the menu as every other restaurant in 1600 just serves pizza, fondue or crepes. I had a lovely breseola salad and they brought some gravy for...More

We have a lovely lunch at Sanglier on a damp day at Les Arcs. The high ceilings and pegs on which to hand wet gloves/helmets/jackets made for a comfortable lunch. The food was excellent - all six meals were eaten and we left fuelled for...More

In less than 3 seasons Le Sanglier Qui Fume has become one of Les Arcs’ most wanted restaurant, with its exceptionnal environment, its warm and efficient service and its inventive bistrot cuisine. You cannot miss this huge chalet on the edge ofthe slop es in Arc 1600, with easy access for both skiers and pedestrians. Its impressive timber frame and inventive design, with a cable car hanging from the main timber and antique mirrors and cuckoos, create a bright, relaxing, unique athmosphere. Add to this a cheerful and attentive staff , and you get a place that has become a classic for both locals and visitors. The large open beams offer amazing views of the Tarentaise valley, and the sunny terrace is the perfect spot for lunch or a last drink at sunset before going back to the resort. The « altitude bistrot cuisine », orchestrated by young chef Jean-Baptiste Favre, will surprise you with local flavors and products twisted with tastes of Asia or Switzerland.
