Delightful restaurant run by French husband (chef) and English wife (front-of-house / waitress) team. Very friendly welcome and very professional service. Sensible range of choices on the menu with some French classics and some dishes with a more modern twist. Good quality cooking throughout. Four courses, including cheese, for about 30 Euros (plus wine). Again, a sensibly chosen fairly short... More

La Belle Epoque has to be the best restaurant in St Omer, by a street. Classic French cuisine, beautifully prepared and presented, and thoughtfully brought up to date. There is a well selected wine list and the service is charming, efficient and well informed, so it's well-nigh perfect. Excellent. Thank you so much.

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it lived up to it's fantastic reviews. First tip, make sure you book a table as this is a very popular place. We went as a group of four friends and following the reviews, decided to stop over in Saint Omer rather than Calais before we returned to the UK. Saint Omer... More

A winning French/British husband and wife team combination with husband in the kitchen and his wife managing the front of house. With everything in French and English this is the perfect way to gradually acclimatise again to the language and culture. Friendly small bistro kind ofambiance with excellent service and wonderful food. Set menus were good value and wines reasonably... More

What a find! Delightful decor, efficient friendly staff and simple dishes to suit all palettes. Scrum my chocolate fondant! recommended. We ate here on our first night in France and have booked for the return journey so we are assured of another fine evening.

Took my partner here for a birthday treat. The atmosphere is lovely very relaxed, the restaurant is owned by a lovely couple and considering there's only the 2 of them Cédric the chef and his wife the waitress the service was excellent. Be prepared to wait a while for your meal. we ate the 3 course menu €28. The food... More

Lovely little restaurant, with comfortable old fashioned decorations, and a very warm greeting and good, but unobtrusive service. The food and prices are excellent, with set prices for a combination of either starter & main, main & dessert, or all 3, or cheese & coffee too. No hidden prices added either! The food is excellent. Great flavours, good sized portions... More

Booked this restaurant to break our journey up from Calais to Epernay and we weren't disappointed. Had the fixed price three course menu, starting with an aperitif while we per used the menu. Had complimentary salted peanuts and olives to accompany our pre dinner drinks. My husband had the chicken in aspic jelly with salad which was very light and... More

We stopped off here for lunch on our way to Epernay for a short stay and we are so glad we did. The restaurant is a typical cosy French place tastefully decorated and with nice sized tables in the heart of a lovely little town. There is plenty of parking within 2 minutes’ walk. The waitress was extremely charming and... More

Having eaten at this restaurant twice before it came as no great suprise as to the standard of food, service and the atmosphere. Cedric unfortunately is hard at work in the kitchen so our complements once more to your fantastic skill and not forgetting Kate who deals with front of house perfectly. I could go on and on but I...
