A strange experience- firstly there was no menu for drinks such as coke and soda and no prices on the “specials drink menu”. Is it unusual to want to know the price before ordering? They seemed determined to sell a glass with every drink. Secondly...there was no info about allergens on the menu. The waiter asked us to choose a meal then he would say if it was GF or not. Usually menus are marked and a customer can choose from the more limited choice. The menu was huge and would have been a game of pot luck. Not customer friendly. Thanks but no thanks.More

Fun spot out on the Dockside part of the island. Piano player was terrific and entertaining. Careful buying tee shirts. Check the markings and the label before you buy.

We went to the Frog & Onion twice while our cruise ship was docked at King's Wharf. The first time, we just sat at the bar and ordered Bermuda's two famous local cocktails: the Dark and Stormy and the Rum Swizzle. Both were the best...we had during our entire visit. On our last day in Bermuda, we stopped in for lunch. The service was great, the food was tasty (try the red onion rings and the local fish sandwich), and the live music ensured a fun atmosphere. The menu is extensive, so everyone should find something they like. This pub is worth a stop!More

We were in port on a cruise and we wanted to have some local food and beer. After traveling around St. George’s island much of the day, we wanted to end closer to the ship and you can’t get much closer than the Frog and...Onion in the Royal Naval Dockyard. Upon walking in, we saw that there was plenty of seating. We also enjoyed the live music playing in the background. The volume was perfect: enough that we could hear it but not so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. For food and drink, we ordered the steak pasty, the rum swizzle (made with Gosling’s aged in house), some of their local beer, and the sticky toffee pudding. The food was delicious and served so quickly. Now to the highlight of our visit: our waiter Marcelino. He was polite, a great conversationalist, attentive, and gave amazing recommendations. Next time we’re in Bermuda, we will be back specifically looking to be seated in his section.More

Great pub in Naval Dockyard. Had the fish sandwich on raisin bread and the onion rings. Food very tasty. Also went to store and got visors and shirts. Would recommend visiting.

Great spot for local food and drink and wonderful life music. The Dark and Stormy is great . We also had a wonderful local chowder. The restaurant is very close to the cruise port and near an artisan market.

Great pub and visited twice during a 12 day stay on Bermuda. Nice to return after some years and find it was still as good as before. Had a great time sharing a flight of their excellent beers. They also do very good chips (fries)!...Wayne Davis still on very good form with his singing. Not to be missed if you are in Dockyard and want to get a pretty fair English pub experience. Personally I’d enjoy it more without the permanently on but silent TVs.More

Marcelino was a great server. He explained local drinks, helped us with wifi, and in general was a charming and congenial waiter. I wish we had more time, I would come back to the Frog and Onion. Beautiful pub! Great service!

A bit over priced and over rated but pleasant enough. Staff were quite abrupt. I tried the 6 flight beer taster which was OK but nothing special. There was a good variety of sport on the TV screens, so possibly a good venue for English...premiereship matches.More

I have reviewed this restaurant in the past. The food is very good. There is a lot of seating indoors, and it does look charming, but I have mostly been at lunchtime when dining outdoors seems preferable. If you're looking for a dark, cool interior,...though, indoors may be the best choice. We stopped there today for lunch since we were between ferries to Hamilton. No one else was there (no cruise ships in today), so service was very good. I always have the fish and chips. I recommend them highly. My husband had the fish sandwich. It was not the traditional fish sandwich; the fish was fried, and the bread was a bun, not raisin bread. It was served with the same fries that I had with my fish and chips. We ended up missing the next ferry, but the experience was worth it.More

The experience was so awesome yesterday that I decided to come back and wow was I impressed at the consistency of the service we received as well as the quality of food. This time, I brought my friend who was very impressed at the adaptability...of options from the menu. We had a different waiter this time, Mihai was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He made our day special. Thank you Mihai for being customer centric and a pleasure to meet.More
