We visited on a recommendation at the end of our 10 day holiday. The 2 waiters were great and gave good service but they were on their own with no front of house support. The Tavern was closed for some reason so we were eating...in the barn. The food was good but the atmosphere was non existent. The bill was over $300 plus we had 2 taxi fares of $35. It was the most disappointing meal of our whole holiday.More

We dined here last night with local friends and had a pleasant experience. My meal was very good but not great. I hah a retro meal - Caesar salad and a filet mignon. The salad was fine. The steak was very small, cooked as ordered...but not a great piece of mea, just two wedges and the sides and they were expensive - more about that later. Our friends had the Osso Bucco and were pleased. We were seated in an outdoor pavilion which was disappointing as the interior of the building is wonderful. Service was fine. I have a real problem with this place where we’ve eaten often over the years. I always check out a restaurants menu on line before I dine. As usual, I did this and when we got our menus, the price levels were no where near the on-line prices. And the differences in many cases were significant. I understand fine dining, I’m perfectly willing to pay up for value BUT I don’t like to be mis-led. This has happened here a number of time but due to Covid we haven’t been to Bermuda in two years and I forgot about this. I will write this off our list of favorite restaurants, it’s just too systematic.More

An exceptional fine dining experience in Bermuda! Its upscale vibe made it a perfect place for an extra special dinner out for our babymoon. We started with the evening’s appetizer special: fresh burrata (pasteurized), cherry tomatoes and arugula finished with a balsamic reduction. It was...delicious. For entrees, my husband had the shrimp and scallop ravioli entree which was fantastic and I had the (appetizer size portion) of the tagliolini squid ink pasta and shrimps which was terrific. For dessert, we had cherries gratin to share which was a small, freshly baked cherry pie served right from the oven!More

Dined her with my husband and 3 teenagers. The staff was a bit stuffy. You can’t experience the beauty of the restaurant bc of the Covid restrictions. The food was ok. Small portions. A quiet atmosphere.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The owner greets all the tables and the service is wonderful. Currently sitting outside but the inside looks wonderful. A must in Bermuda.

Most amazing five course special dinner I’ve ever had. Tom Moore’s teamed up with Bacardi for a five course dinner and gin tasting evening. The meal: table side hors d’oeuvres with Prosecco, Portuguese soup, bacon and hard boiled egg salad, duck filled ravioli, trio of...meat (two lamb rack pieces, beef filet, pork medallion, trio of dessert (including mini soufflé), plus six gin tastings, five gin cocktails, red and white wine - with insight into each gin. The staff were totally on the ball, social distancing observed outside and the entire meal was first class!!! Well done Bruno and team - you never disappoint - and thanks for Mr Pemberton for his insights on gin!! Amazing evening.More

We absolutely loved our evening at Tom Moore’s Tavern. We sat under a gazebo with twinkling lights and the sound of tree frogs singing in the background. The food was exceptional. My husband had the rack of lamb and I had the duck. Both were...cooked perfectly and the quality of the ingredients was very high. The wine list is very extensive, with a selection of the best wines from around the world. The service was wonderful led by the charming Maitre D’ Bruno. We shall be returning again tonight and are looking forward to it. It is our favourite restaurant in Bermuda.More

This dinner blew me away. From the perfect spinach salad, to the BEST, most tender filet mignon I’ve ever had in my life - it was perfection. It was the little touches on the plate that really made it stand out, the little crispy croquette,...the mushroom pate’... little things they didn’t need to include, but they did! delish!!! And the desserts! Save room for soufflé! You won’t be sorry!More

Thomas Moore’s Tavern is a HIDDEN GEM on Bermuda! Their outstanding Maitre’de (sp?) Bruno and their entire staff made our 10th Wedding Anniversary EXTRA SPECIAL! From the chunky Bermuda Fish Chowder, to their Calamari Pasta covered with Shrimp, to the incredible Chocholate Souffle, including their...suggestion of rose’ Sparkling Wine, it was MAGNIFIQUE (sp?)!!! For that extra special experience on Bermuda!More

Very old fashioned and needs some refurbishment. I think the only thing changed here over the last 30 years is the prices. Food is very 1980’s and fine but I don’t think I would return

Bruno was charming and a tremendous host. We were celebrating a birthday and unfortunately, the beginning of the corvid-19 shutdown. Everyone should visit this wonderful restaurant and support Bruno and his staff when he reopens. Great food, wonderful ambiance. Each course was incredible and the...presentation was outstandingMore

It’s an excellent and totally appropriate “venue”. The surrounding area is also somewhat historic, with the Blue Hole Park. The owner is fabulously good with hospitality and “tradition”. Surely, a treat for any special... More

No, however it is a more "dressed up" restaurant so a nice collared shirt is appropriate.
