This place is a classic Bermuda restaurant. It is very close to Tuckerman's Point and if you are staying at that resort I would definitely put it on your list. It is in a lovely old house with a bit of history attached to it. The owner is lovely and very involved. Unfortunately, for us while there celebrating our 20th... More

Tom Moore's Tavern is the oldest restaurant in Bermuda dating back over 300 years. My family of 11 ate their with children and the food was excellent and the people were incredibly friendly. My daughter has food allergies and they bent over backwards to accommodate her. It is definitely fine dining but it wasn't stuffy or pretentious. I would recommend... More

With most restaurants being all glass tile and steel these days it's great to go to one that is still old school. The service is always great and the food is perfect. Had a wonderful 4 course meal with the linguine special - there was so much linguine and shrimp that it would feed 2 easily. The soufflé with table... More

I knew we were in trouble when the bread arrives. It makes the first impression and we were served non-descript plain white dinner rolls (seemed like they came from a store bought plastic bag) and some average focaccia bread one piece of which was stale. The olive tapenade that came with the bread had way too much garlic which made... More

We have dined at Tom Moore's Tavern for many years on our anniversary. We find the food and service absolutely outstanding without the "stuffiness" and pretensions of other 5 star restaurants. I started this year with the pasta of the day as an appetizer, penne with sausage, spinach, and fresh tomatoes. It was delicious. My wife and I both had... More

We absolutely love Tom Moore's and Bruno. We've been coming to the Island for over 20 years and always find time to fit in at least one dinner at this restaurant. Yes it's expensive but in all our years we have never had a bad meal there and the food is excellent. Save yourself for the Soufflé for dessert. The... More

We ventured out from MOC for a nice dinner at Tom Moore's per the notion of some friends from back home. Very quaint and intimate restaurant. The Bermudian chowder was delicious with the Sherry and Black Rum. The presentation was wonderful as well. Bruno (our waiter) recommend the salmon and pork as preferred dishes. Both were well received. My choice... More

We dined with a group of 23 people in a very nice semi-private room. We enjoyed the unique setting and interior of Bermuda's oldest restaurant. Service was very attentive. The pleasant owner welcomed us plus served. The caesar salad was good and plentiful. We had a choice of 3 entrees and the pan seared local fresh wahoo was outstanding. The... More

We went for my birthday meal and it was a great experience. Good service, food, atmosphere. The house was built in 1652 so we appreciated having a historic setting.

I don't get all the fuss. You're paying top dollar for food that's just OK. Everything was bland. There's much better options for the same price or less all over the island. Nice decor and atmosphere, but that's about it. Save yourself the money and head elsewhere.
