The food here is fantastic! My somewhat picky kids had no complaints at all. I don't think we could have gone wrong no matter what we ordered. Our server Mark, was a fountain of information and the food came pretty quickly after we ordered. The facility is clean and well lit. The kids even loved the bathrooms. When next we... More

Having had great meals at different Max Philippine locations, I got a craving and decided to visit this franchise. It did not start off well at all. Walking in it did not resemble a Max restaurant or at least The ones I knew. Unappealing is best summation. The waitress overlooked my table to the point I had to ask for... More

Had better home cooked food then eating at Max's. Ordered Pata and Kare Kare for dinner. Both dishes were disappointing and expensive. Pata has no taste, looked like the pork hock was cooked to death then deep fried. Kare Kare has pieces of beef added rather than just ox tail. Small quantity of vegetables seems to be an afterthought and... More

This is doesn't live up to other Max's restaurant we've been in US & Canada. During our trip to Toronto, decided to take family of 5 for late lunch ( 2 pm ). Made reservations. We were seated promptly as expected as it was past peak lunch hour however it took at least 15 mins for the server to return... More

I had visitors from out of town and they were a little nostalgic and thought it would be nice to eat at Max's in Canada. Not only was the customer service lacking, but we also found a piece of steel wool in our pancit. When we raised this issue, the manager did not address it. Instead the "head chef" came... More

Service was slow - from seating us to cleaning tables. Also, our waiter got our order wrong. He did apologize profusely and gave us our dessert for free, which was a very nice gesture. Staff is super friendly, so we were more forgiving for the slower service. Besides, if you have been to the Philippines, you would understand this culture... More

You might not think to come here for fried chicken, but if you didn't, you'd be missing out on a real treat. The chicken is perfectly cooked and fried to a light, delicious crisp. The noodle dish makes an excellent side, and the spring rolls a great app. There's also a large pork dish that is quite tasty as well.... More

Ordered a kids meal from the menu which came with milk. The kids meal came with the milk and the milk had curdled. Waitress tried to call the manager but none was available, and made us wait. Waitress then took my information and assured me that the manager would call me the next day. 5 days later still no phone... More

This rest goes beyond the standard pancit and adobo plates. I highly recommend the laing; it tastes so much like the way my mom cooks it. The lechon kawali is so good, it's worth my doctor's disappointment with my diet choices. My wife had the leche flan and I had the gulaman with pinipig, both perfect deserts to finish off... More

First time we went here, we brought very good Jewish friends and they were very open about the menu. However, I am not pleased with how they cramped us in a corner despite reservations made in advance. Today we made reservations and they stuck us in the middle of the room when there were other places they could have opened... More
