Very good Spanish food, excellent meat highly recommendable, but also fish as well as several traditional Spanish dishes. Do not miss it!

Last Saturday we went as a group (6 people) for luch. Sat in the terrace ....weather was good and pleasant. Starters were ample and good and the steak to follow was superb. Wine list ample and not too expensive. I did think the restaurant was on the expensive side.

Stopped by for lunch. 30 eur for a dish (duck filet with figues) and a glass of wine. Food was not good. Meat was "swimming" in oil, was half bloody although i ask for well-done. Figues were salty. Broth that was brought at the beginning was also too salty. A waiter in charge of the table nearby tried to save... More

A small, cozy and very commendable restaurant very suitable for business or a romantic dinner. The service was excellent and very professional. The food comes at a price (expect 40 euros pax) but we had fantastic "Croquetas de rabo de toro" to share and the steak tartare was really, really good. The wine selection is not very big, but the... I went here with a Spanish colleague after we visited the Monasterio. The service and attention were really good. We were a bit early and were sent to the bar which also belongs to the same restaurant. The interior of that bar is really beautiful, I felt like I was in Buenos Aires. We tookt he typical dish, Cocido; the... More

Can't fault this restaurant on anything except the price. Service foo quality and service are all excellent. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was purely based on this. As a restaurant for special occasions it is perfect.

After touring El Escorial, a friend took me to this restaurant. I had no idea what to expect. Because it was a warm December and they had heaters outside, we sat on the patio overlooking the beautiful scenery. I knew that we were at a exquisite restaurant even before we were presented with the menus. One of the waiters saw... More

On a recent visit to the area, myself and a friend called to reserve a table for lunch(on the morning of the said day). We were advised they were fully booked but we could choose to go on a wait list, which we did. We did this as we had been very highly recommended this restaurant by a person who... More

One of the meals I've enjoyed most in my life. This place has an amazing atmosphere with a grate terrace, awesome service and grate food. We had some spanish ham and cheese, with some lamb chops with potatoes, simple but amazing. Wine selection was also really good, and local help on how to chose was invaluable.

It is one of the best traditional restaurants in San Lorenzo del Escorial. Fresh meat and fish and great service but pricey
