I had a chance to visit Coque with a few Spanish friends that knew the place well. It is a bit far a away from city center (30km = 20mi) in Humanes de Madrid but worth the trip that will take in a taxi about 30-40 minutes and costs 35-45 EUR. Restaurant has 2 Michelin stars and with a reason.... More
Being the first time in a Michelin star restaurant, I wanted to wait writing this review so I can have some reference. Haven't found yet anything reaching the level of Coque. I understand now how people become addicted to fine dining. I would change any long weekend trip to this level of eating experience. Michelin star restaurant leaves you hungry?... More
We are used to visit Michelin stars. This one is different, amazing and superb. We spent almost three hours and enjoied each minute. The only problem is driving back to Madrid after such a wonderfull lunch, better take a taxi
Coque is not just a Michelin star award restaurant, is your home for two hours. You visit the cellar, the kitchen, the ovens and finally the dining room. In each part of the restaurant you taste exquisite food with a common element: TASTE and respect for the traditional cook with excellent and local products.
Excellent food and experience, amazing to be in simple Humanes de Madrid (which as the demarcation between factions during Franco's siege of Madrid) and have such a sophisticated place. As we progressed from wine cellar to kitchen to dining room to desert space, we enjoyed every step. Worthy of a Michelin star.
Coque is a one satr Michelin guide restaurant. we take menu that it is more than 20 dishes. Cuisine was perfect, attention excellent. Only just a problem is about 20 km from Madrid and this could be a problem for people with car for moving in this trip
One of our very best dining experiences, not just the innovative food but also the supreme service and interesting route taken through different rooms of the restaurant. On arrival you are taken downstairs to the extensive wine bodega and offered aperitifs and then the canapés arrived – each a delightful mouthful. We then progressed to the kitchen and were introduced... More

Dinning at the Coque restaurant in Madrid is an experience that is unique. The atmosphere as you enter the restaurant is welcoming and the staffs are so helpful. The food is mouth-watering and the presentation is fantastic. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great food in a good location.
