The waiter was lovely but the guy behind the bar seemed less than friendly. A shame really as it was a pretty little place and we might have gone back for an evening meal.

The grand old building occupies a corner position and initially you feel like you've entered a busy bar. They have a fair sized restaurant just off the bar decorated typically with old Spanish photos. Service was spot on, and the food was excellent. We shared some Gambas cooked on the plancha, then shared a magnificent Bonito salad. For mains, we... More

We ate here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. We weren't too hungry and only ordered a main course each. I ordered Sole and my wife the suckling pig only to be told that it was still in the oven and would be a couple of hours before it was ready - I wish we had the the chance to try... More

Anywhere near Aranjuez we try to take a meal at Casa Pablo.Once inside you cannot fail to feel the original Spain oozing out of the walls. The menu and food is traditional Spanish (sweetbreads, snails ) with a large number of locals making up the cliental. Aranjuez is a town of long history and this little restaurant makes you feel part... More

This restaurant was recommended by the staff at the NH hotel and we were very happy that we'd gone! We walked in through the bar which as busy and we were the first customers in the dining room. It is traditionally decorated with lots of photographs and some bull fighting memorabilia. A waiter arrived immediately with a menu in Spanish.... More

Have dined here before a few years ago so had to go back during an overnight stop in Aranjuez. Meet at the door by the owner who is absolutely charming. A very varied menu and he personally came to see us as each dish was served as his son is the chef and he wanted to ensure we enjoyed the... More

Very poor service. The waiter saw us right from the beginning, as we were the only table and after 10 minutes waiting not even a menu or an excuse. We had to leave as the kids were getting hungry. When we left I told the bar man what had happened. He was not surprised!

We came across this place on a quiet mid-week lunchtime. At the outside tables were a group of obviously local people, always a good sign. While we were reading the outside menu, the elderly owner came out and provided a man in English. We decided to eat outside under the shade of the trees. The food was good, especially the... More

This is a place full of bullfighting history, the atmosphere is very unique and the restaurant has been operating since 1941. The prices are average high but the quality is very good. Good wine list.

We stumbled on this bar, and saw the good selection of whiskies. Stayed for a couple of drinks, then tapas and wines. Very good jamon and cheese. There was an excellent young man tending bar, and we were looked after the best. It was mid week so probably a little quiet, but we really enjoyed our evening.
